What we particularly liked about this place - address is clearly visible and marked at the entrance. Makes life so much easier when calling a cab. Menu - breaded pork chops, potatoes au gratin & green beans. Pancake did not want to leave!
Assault on Porkchop's Spaceship!
The toys launch a daring rescue mission to save the captive Hockey Puck, Peas in a Pod, and Chatterbox Telephone. Barbie has infiltrated Dr. Porkchop's Spaceship disguised as Astronaut Ken, while Slinky Dog and Rex lead a frontal assault. Meanwhile, Buzz has flown Woody, Jesse, Lenny, and the army man onto the ship's impressive wingspan to stage a surprise attack. Lotso, Zurg, Dr. Porkchop and the others have no idea what's coming for them! Meanwhile, the Prospector misses all the action because he's still stuck mint-in-the-box.
How many Toy Story characters can you name in the scene?
Adapted from Nagi/Recipe Tin Eats. Soy sauce, Worcestershire, brown sugar, smoked pepper, garlic, black garlic molasses. Glorious...
Palace Casino & Carousel House
106 Asbury Avenue
Asbury Park, New Jersey 07712
United States
The Palace Casino and Carousel House are part of the Asbury Park Boardwalk, circa 1929 by Architect Warren and Wetmore.
The 1920s saw a dramatic change in the boardwalk with the construction of the Paramount Theatre and Convention Hall complex, the Casino Arena and Carousel House, and two handsome red-brick pavilions. Beaux Arts Architect Warren Whitney of New York was the designer. He had also been hired to design the imposing Berkeley-Carteret Hotel positioned diagonally across from the theater and hall. At the same time, Asbury Park launched a first-class education and athletic program with the construction of a state-of-the-art high school overlooking Deal Lake.
In 2007, the eastern portion of the Casino building was demolished. There are plans to rebuild this portion to look much like the original; however, the interior will be dramatically different and may include a public market (as opposed to previously being an arena and skating rink).

This was for a Moby-Dick inspired collection of paintings.
Bobby has been cooking up a lot of great creations since we moved into the Federal City in the spring; here's his grilled Szechuan-marinated pork chop served atop ginger-garlic-herb jasmine rice with accompanying apple-fennel salad topped with bacon.

I seasoned them with Lawry's seasoning salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder. Placed chops under broiler to get a browning on both sides then covered with foil -placed back in oven and set the temp on 250 F on "Bake" and set time for 1 hr-cut off oven then let set for 1 hr......soooo good
**Update: Uncle Porkchop has been adopted by a wonderful lady! So happy for him and he thanks you all for your wonderful comments and support!**
Uncle Porkchop is a Cymric who was rescued by Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue and is being fostered at my friend Jen’s house. Uncle Porkchop is a big lump of cross-eyed love…playful, loving, friendly, and just a sweetheart! I could barely take any photos of him since he wanted to climb on my lap and get cuddles all the time.
Unfortunately Uncle Porkchop is soon to become Uncle Tripod since one of his legs has to be amputated, but we’re sure he will adapt fabulously and hopefully find a wonderful forever-home where he can hop along happily for the rest of his life :) We’re all rooting for you Porkchop!
