Little bit bored on NYE, seen the kids new Christmas toys laying around and thought I'd have my own fun with them! Still new to low light shots, and struggling a little I think with just the standard 18-55m lens on the D60. Lit from the right by a laptop screen, rear is of course a christmas tree :)
Happy New Year folks.

with brussels sprouts mixed with my leftover Asparagus-Bean salad.
The recipe for the pork chops can be found here.
The chops are really good. I bought two 3/4 pound chops and sliced them in half (after the leftover meal that follows this one, I still have two chops left! I'll know better next time).
The brussels sprouts/asparagus mixture made for a nice side. The sprouts are some leftover freezer veggies I've had for a while. If they had been plump and fresh, I'd have sliced them. These were too soft though so they stayed as-is. No problem though. I liked it.
