i thought i would try a different look, something less polished, though i'm not sure how i feel about it. comments appreciated...

so i just saw this for the first time, WHAT THE HELL!!! How freakin hilarious!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUkzFQNHq9c

I overcooked the pork 'coz i couldn't tell if it was done alrady. I'm used to the chops having some marinade on them to indicate degree of doneness. This still looked raw even after plating. I know it's ugly, but the huge amount of buttered corn kernels is by request of the diners.

Tender, boneless pork chops are quickly pan fried, then simmered in a sweet and tangy sauce of peaches, brown sugar, cider vinegar and a touch of herbs. Ready for your table in under 20 minutes!

On her sixteenth birthday. Still one of my favorite photos of her.

Coopers Pork Chop Fundraiser at their station off Hwy 58 in Nash Co on 10-3-14.

Splash of Red challenged three artists (Porkchop, Joey Parlett and Jeff Allen) to create a piece of art inspired by a poem published on our website. Plus, Pulitzer Prize winner and New Jersey native Junot Diaz let us borrow the only lines he's ever written about the Jersey boardwalk from an unpublished novel for this project. The following experiment is displayed for you here. If you would like to visit, the mural is located on the heating plant on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ. Notice the blank panel in the middle; there is always room for more creativity in this world.

The Old Heating Plant was the central steam heating plant. It produced steam heat that was piped through underground tunnels between the boardwalk and Ocean Avenue. The steam was used to heat the heating plant, the Casino, all of the boardwalk pavilions and Convention Hall, plus the pavilions north of Convention Hall up to 8th avenue.

The Art Deco style is that interesting combination of Moorish, Venetian and Egyptian that we can see through the architectural structures in Asbury Park.
