Shred everything!

Elza shot here while climbing up a pool. Worked well in black and white.

Nice to get a shot of us together, even though its not a great picture of either of us.

Avon NC Aug 7, 2013

We spent the whole afternoon in the pool. Cool, refreshing and a little wrinkly.

The Champagne Pool is a prominent geothermal feature within the Waiotapu geothermal area in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand. The terrestrial hot spring is located about 30 km (19 mi) southeast of Rotorua and about 50 km (31 mi) northeast of Taupo. The name Champagne Pool is derived from the abundant efflux of carbon dioxide (CO2) similar to gas bubbles in a glass of bubbling Champagne. The hot spring was formed 900 years ago by a hydrothermal eruption which makes it in geological terms a relatively young system. Its crater is around 210 ft in diameter with a maximum depth of approximately 200 ft and is filled with an estimated volume of 1,800,000 cu ft of geothermal fluid AND IT PONGS!!!

Found film. A box of negatives at a flea market. No idea who, where or when. Look like mid-1940's.
