Little Bee girl! I got this Kelly doll the other day at Target and wanted her costume for the Pong hehe.
I'm not 100% sure about her right now, I love her, but I have a bit of buyers remorse on her. Maybe it's her size... I dunno...
Pongal (பொங்கல்) is a harvest festival celebrated at the end of the harvest season.Pongal is a four day festival which usually takes place from January 13 to 16 .Pongal itself falls on the first day of the Tamil month of Thai (January 14 or 15). It is celebrated by boiling rice with fresh milk and jaggery. The rice is later topped with sugar, ghee, cashew nuts and raisins. This tradition gives Pongal its name. The rice is traditionally cooked at sun rise.
The moment the milk boils over and bubbles out of the vessel, the tradition is to shout of "Pongalo Pongal!"

தைத் திங்கள் முதல் நாளில் தமிழர்கள் கொண்டாடும் தனிப் பெரும் விழாவான இந்தப் பொங்கல் விழா சமயம் கடந்தது. பிற இந்து சமய விழாக்கள் போல நட்சத்திரத்தின் அடிப்படையிலோ, பஞ்சாங்க அடிப்படையிலோ, இஸ்லாமியப் பண்டிகைகள் போல பிறை பார்த்தோ வருவதல்ல. தை முதல் நாள்தான் பொங்கல். இதன் பின்னனியில் எந்தப் புராணக் கதையும் இல்லை. ஆடி மாதத்தில் தேடி விதைத்த பயிர்களின் விளைச்சலை அறுவடை செய்து பயன் அடையும் பருவமே தை மாதம் ஆகும். அந்த அறுவடையில் கிடைத்த நெல்லின் புத்தரிசியைச் சருக்கரை, பால், நெய் சேர்த்துப் புதுப் பானையிலிட்டுப் புத்தடுப்பில் கொதிக்க வைத்துப் பொங்கல் சோறாக்கிக் கதிரவனுக்கும் மாட்டுக்கும் படைத்து உண்டு மகிழும் விழாவே பொங்கல் விழாவாகும்.

Ruby jumping up and down with her critter, singing 'Everybody jump'
'Ruby stop that beds are for sleeping in, have you been eating too much candy again?'' I asked.
''Nope not me, I just got the natural kind of jumping beans that live inside of me, but this top I swapped with Emily is perfect, it says Adventure on it , so it must be made for me'' Ruby replied.
