The music group leads off in Korean, following the printed lyrics in Korean text (Hangul). The next verse is for the congregation to sing the same syllables, but here presented in alphabetic form (phonetically). Some worshipers are polyglots, so the idea is not too strange. But others speak only English, so the idea of singing syllables they haven't seen or heard before may put them outside their comfort zone. In that case it is easy to hum along with the melody.
