Polychrome Elevations is an artwork by Peter Newman at the South Bank outside the BFI and Hayward Gallery. Basically he's painted all the staircases in primary colours. Reminds me very much of the computer game Mirror's Edge.

A lovely hike within Denali is to leave the Park Road bus and walk uphill to a ridge to the north to get a closer view of Polychrome Mountain.

Multi-hued lavas, intrusive rocks and cemented gravels give the mountain its range of colours. It rises nearly 3000 feet above the surrounding Toklat River valley floor.
