Most of the good shots I got of Denali National Park were of these mountains around Polychrome Pass. In my mind, this place has become something almost mystic in nature. It's still one of my favorite places, but so much time has passed that I wonder sometimes if this was even real. This was a good day.

Tuscan, ca. 1220-1230. They were life sized, and unlike all of the other statues in the gallery they still had their full colours. I kept seeing them out of the corner of my eye and mistaking them for fellow tourists.
Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum. Polychrome Bowl from the Pueblo III period, or Great Pueblo Period (1100-1300 CE). By the end of the period, the Native Americans of the Four Corners region migrated south into larger, centralized pueblos in central and southern Arizona and New Mexico.
