I don't know what moth this is but it seems to be a pollen gatherer.
It looks like a Tiger Moth in this one :)

Amy left out the flowers I bought her for Valentine's day and newman decided to rub his face on them!
Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) found in our forest. In large size you can even see how the flower at the head explodes it's pollen.
Coltsfoot has been used medicinally as a cough suppressant. The name "tussilago" itself means "cough suppressant." The plant has been used since at least historical times to treat lung ailments such as asthma as well as various coughs by way of smoking.

This guy got so covered in pollen he couldn't fly and was crawling over the plant from flower to flower.

In this little cove along the Fox Den Loop Trail, the pollen was so thick on the water that you lost site of the water.
A lot more bumblebees out today and more buff-tailed workers on the forage; liked the huge pollen sacks on this little chap !

Yesterday's Pollen Count, from our lovely pine trees: 9369, today's 5174. Tomorrow? Still expected to be in the extremely high range. This yellow dust layer is on everything outside. Ah Choo!
