Hello everyone,

Check out the size of this bee's saddlebag. It's really quite amazing how much pollen that they can carry around.

Thank you for taking the time to look and to leave me a comment. I do love hearing from you!

The bees seem to be making the most of what remains of our summer. HSS, everyone! :)

Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don't they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers.

Honey bee delight.

The very fresh Anemone.

On Sunday, after watching the sun rise, I stopped my car in a trailer park to look at cactus flowers. While sun rose higher, I snapped catching those earlier rays lighting all. It was no stress until a bee or two occasionally decided to land on me.

Very active Bumblebee finds the pollen he is searching!

Watching this bee dive into a squash blossom led me to discover this information...."Pollen is used to feed baby bees. It is the only protein source for the honey bee colony. Pollen is vital for the health and productivity of a honey bee colony. Without this protein source, no young bees could be raised. And it is important to have a variety of pollen sources for the young bees. "
