I finally finished my Polka Dot Sampler a few weeks ago. I got it back from the long arm quilter in the summer and it took me forever to do the binding. In total, it took me about a year and a half to finish this quilt. Now that it's finished, I can't for the life of me understand why as the quilt turned out so great.
i wore 3-inch platform espadrille wedges today. they were lovely and i felt sooo tall (all of 5'6 3/4" - and that 3/4" counts!).
i ruled the world today.
until i nearly fell into the toilet because i expected it to be 3 inches closer to me.
A surprisingly successful combo here--the black-and-white polka-dot blouse and the hot pink stretch miniskirt, both from Wal-Mart at different times.
The polka-dot bow adds a touch of youth, while the fishnet hose add a touch of sex, right? Other accessories are silver jewelry and polka-dot pumps.
For the second outfit, I chose the shirt dress with the tiny polka dots. Accessories are the polka dot hair bow, pearls, black belt, dark hose, and black pumps with the metal spike heels.
Today started with a little more seasonal dressing...combining the school-girlish sweater and turtleneck top with the polka-dot skirt.
As you can see, I've gone back to the shoulder-length blonde wig for today; I figured it was more in keeping with the younger look of this outfit. Accessories are the polka-dot hair bow, scarf, red and silver jewelry, white belt, white hose, and red baby-doll pumps.

It's a long time since I dressed in the evening...probably at least six months. I worked today and decided to get dressed after dinner. So here's my comfortable and very classy polka-dot shirt dress from Wal-Mart.
I'm really happy with this set of pictures...it's the best of the ones so far this week. I don't know if it's the dress or just the way I was moving tonight, but everything seemed to work.
Accessories: white hairbow, gold jewelry, black belt, dark hose, black mary-janes.
