This retro female only outfit takes its name from the jazz standard "polkadots and moonbeams" - as sung by Bob Dorough! (Don't care much for the other versions, only that one. But that one I love, as I love everything the man has ever sung!)
Comes with skin, garment, a hat trimmed with feathers and prim flowers, a dotted transparent collar, puff sleeves, a skirt with a dot bustle and a back bow, a flower corsage as well as regular bracelets and finally roller skates! (Somehow I thought that they would go well with this, I have no idea why...). However, for the more conservative amongst you I have also thrown in a pair of nice French heel pumps.

A magical, secret place… Pfeiffer Beach took my breath away.
Edit: just noticed lara put up the version I shot with her holga. I am definitely not… err… holga-experienced, as is evidenced by the wonkiness of that shot. But I really do like its filmy goodness.
A view of the back of the Art Gallery of Peterborough, as seen over Little Lake. I've lived in Peterborough since 1988, but took my first-ever tour of the gallery last week. It's awesome!
I like to experiment with techniques, and have recently tried physically intervening with the film negative. The polkadot series started with photographing a number of buildings using a 6cm x 9cm medium format camera. After processing, I used a 10mm punch and a hammer to knock out discs of film, which I then arranged on a flat bed scanner.
I made this about 2 -3 years ago, but still love the design. The photo wasn't taken by me, I wish I could remember who took it.
