Day Six, Photo Two of Polaroid Week Autumn 2016.
Expired Polaroid Chocolate 100 film, 360 Land Camera. Taken at Sculptured Beach, Point Reyes, CA.
Polaroid, and especially black and white used in a less "high spec" 600 box camera comes as close as anything I have explored in bringing the emotion of the Fenlands. How I see it and what I feel when I'm in it.

In the series «The scattering of being».
This was my last ever pack of Polaroid Chocolate 100 film, shot November 2022. During the lockdown this choco was tucked safe in a film fridge at my mom's house, where I couldn't reach it. I hoped it would still be viable by the time I could access it and find a suitable subject. What a miracle that almost all of them had a full spread, 13 years expired! â€ïžđ«
There was a beautiful crescent moon in that sky â you never know what the film will pick up or leave blank!

Day 4 of Polaroid Week. I dug out a pack of OG Impossible Project PX100 Silver Shade film from the first year of production, 2010-2011. Got lucky that it still worked!

L'installation de l'Ă©mulsion sur ce papier calque s'est fait toujours dans le mĂȘme sens afin dâallongĂ© lâimage dans le sens de la route. VoilĂ pourquoi lâimage nâest pas carrĂ©e.
I end the week with a second picture from the series "fragile trees". for this picture I had already changed my workflow a bit, not so many hairs turned grey... ;)
unfortunately I wasn't able to take part in polaroid week as much as I would have liked. nevertheless, it was a celebration for me and I am very grateful to be part of this community. polaroid week is always sooo inspiring and wonderful. I'm already looking forward to autumn and spending some more time in the pool, to see all the pictures of this week!
p.s. the two mosaics will be exhibited at the instant cologne (27.5. - 29.5.). so if you are nearby, you are welcome to have a look at them there.
