It's my favourite time of year on Flickr again: Roid Week! Go to the pool right now and check it out! I'm on the road today, so won't be able to check in much, but am loving what I've seen already.... and just wait for Days Two, Three, Four and Five - you'll not be able to get me away from it!

Happy Polaroid Week! To celebrate, I'm sharing my last ever pack of Polaroid Chocolate 100 film, shot November 2022. During the lockdown this choco was tucked safe in a film fridge at my mom's house, where I couldn't reach it. I hoped it would still be viable by the time I could access it and find a suitable subject. What a miracle that almost all of them had a full spread, 13 years expired! ❤️🍫
Expired Polaroid Chocolate 100 film, Polaroid 360 Land Camera.
"Thin mosquitoes bite the worse" is what I learned in Sweden this summer. But I have to say, every mosquito bite was worth it. I am really thankful that I was able to make a trip to Laponia in these times. The nature impressed me so much and gave me back some energy I lost during all the lockdowns.
happy polaroid week to all of you!
I hope you all are well in these challenging times!!!

These New York ones were taken on an epic Pola-walk with Rommel - one of the true Polaroid masters, and the best guide possible to New York City!
Unbelievable as it seems, it's already Day Four of Roid Week - my favourite time of year on Flickr.... Go to the pool right now and check it out - there's some fantastic work there, and it's not too late to contribute, there are still two whole days to go!
Day 5 of Polaroid Week. I dug out a pack of OG Impossible Project PX100 Silver Shade film from the first year of production, 2010-2011. Got lucky that it still worked!
A blue 600 jammed in the reel gave me the opportunity to somehow recover its beautiful background colouring. Put in water for a few days and then syringe with acrylic colours gave me these abstract shapes and colours. The colours once dry still let the blue pass while always remaining in tune. Hard to believe we're already approaching the halfway stage of Roid Week - my favourite time of year on Flickr.... If you're an instant film person and you haven't already joined the group, do it now. Even if you're not - you need to get down there & check out the amazing stuff people have been posting!

My final upload of Roid Week 2010 - one that kind of expresses how I feel at the end of these five amazing days!
