Happy Polaroid Week! I apologise in advance. There will probably be a lot of pics of these flowers this week. My mojo has largely been missing so I’m trying to shoot my way through it.

on my attempts to photograph triptychs for the spring roidweek, the weather mostly played tricks on me. instead of sunshine and spring-like temperatures, i rather found myself in wind, snow and cold.

When I read about the tree "Old Tjikko" in a book years ago, I hoped to visit him sometime. At first glance he looks quite inconspicuous, but the tree, or rather its root system, is almost 10,000 years old, making him the oldest tree in the world. For me, as a tree lover, it was very special to visit the tree this summer and spend some time with him.

The neighbor's shrub is in full bloom, so I waited for the perfect morning light.
Aside from a bit of dust-spotting, this scan is "straight out of camera." I was really pleased with the exposure on this photo.
