OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Looks like the local beach office have got a new Polaris Beach Buggy

This is the first star trail photo have done with my new Kiev 88CM camera. The moon was up, so I used aperture f/8 for about 3 hours. I had a little light leak on the film back, which in the end became visible on the left side of the photo.

large & black view recommended!

This is my first shot toward the Polar Star (end higher Polaris) seeking to capture the effect that produces the circular movement of the earth. Unfortunately I did very close to the city (it is always advisable to do field inside, so that the lights do not affect the city) and may notice the effects of external lights on 23hs. But it was my first attempt and I hope very soon return to make it better. Data: ISO 200 - 18mm - f/9 opening - 30 minutes of exposure - tripod - shooting infrared.

I am very disappointed with this figure. The Velcro closure on her jeans won't stay closed, her hair is too light, and the face looks nothing like the prototype photos.

We went up to Joshua Tree National Park to see the Lyrids Meteor Shower last night and the conditions couldn't have been more perfect. The park itself is a good distance away from light pollution, it was a completely clear night, and the moon was new as well, thus helping eyes focus only on stars.

After some trial and error, we had found the North Star (Polaris). I dialed in a 10-minute exposure with the hopes of getting circular star trails and when the camera finished processing the image, I was so excited with what I saw. I'm very content with the outcome, but if I could change anything, I would have taken an even longer exposure.

Chinese made Polaris alarm clock. 1 day mechanical movement. Bought this in Malacca during a short trip in 2002.

Only Time will tell and every clock tells a story....

The problem with clock is, once you got two they start to multiply..

It all started when I acquired my first clock a 1960's jap 7-day wall clock from a colleague of mine by the name of Wong Mun Lai, a clock collector

www.flickr.com/photos/lonesomecrow/3975601137/in/set-7215...

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....

My favourite has to be the 400 day clock

Amazing time piece and fun to repair Next in line is those of the electromechanical design type

I love the working principles

At the time of writing, my collection is still growing....but has grind to a halt as my interest is now focus on nature photography

Polaris also has a refreshed makeup
