Settlement points with population estimates are used in GRUMP as a guide tovreallocation of population from rural areas to urban extents defined by stable night-time lights. The level of detail available in the settlement points database varies by country.
I must say, I found this church VERY interesting! Among its other points of interest were the tomb of Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester and his notorious second wife Lettice Knollys, as well as memorials to beloved servants of the Earls of Warwick.

I awoke at some point very early in the morning, I looked round the edge of the curtains, and the sun was just about to rise, the sky a mix of blue and pink, all over. I needed more sleep.
I woke again just after seven, behind schedule and needing a shower and to pack.
That done I went down to the reception to check out, then go for breakfast, and it was the emptiest I had ever seen it, with just two diners, one being my colleague Manu, so I joined him for coffee and to talk.
The car is loaded, I find some station playing an old Bee Gees track, start the car, open the windows and take the short drive to the office.
Man, it is already hot in the office, and the remote for the air con unit has been lost, so there is little else to do other than to endure it, maybe have the window open ajar. Thankfully that side of the building was in shade for the morning, so it didn't get too hot. And by the time the afternoon arrives, I will be on the road to Arhus.
I find work to do, and fill the morning so that come one in the afternoon it was time to pack up and leave for the 90 minute drive to Arhus.
I say my farewells, it will be two weeks before I am back, so once done, I can walk to the car, across the car park that is so dry it is like a desert. In fact when the wind blows here, sand and grit are blown around, so much so the whole area is called Sahara. Anyway, I get in the car, open all the windows and drive away, wanting to go as fast as possible so that the wind would cool me and the car down.
The Audi is so easy to drive, the steering wheel doesn’t move unless you turn it, it has so much power, it accelerates very quickly. In short, I’m having a blast. Down the motorway for 60 or so km, the turn onto the E45 for the half hour drive up to Arhus South and from there down into the centre of the city, take a left and another 5 minutes to the hotel.
And there I see the first Pokemon Go players. In fact I nearly take four of them out as they run in front of the car, waving mobile phnes in front of them. I park in front of the hotel, check in and take to my room where there is more work to do, enough to keep me busy until half four, when I will go and meet my old RAF buddy, Shaggy.
However, I thought I knew the way, and despite being just a few minute walk from the bar, I convinced myself I knew the way, walked down the hill past the modern art museum, along the road behind it, back up the other side right back to where I started.
I walk round, then see a sign post, so I have to go and check that, and sure enough it points back up the hill, and is some 800m away.
So, by now I was sweating, and walking hard, puffing up the hill, across the intersection, then at the next crossroads, I see the station square, and just a little further on would be the bar.
Shaggs was waiting outside for me, checking with me on Facebook via his phone, sadly mine was in the hotel room, so no chance of answering him. We are meeting because he is going to buy my old 50D body, as I have failed to sell it via e bay, as well as bringing him so British supplies, Bovril and Marmite.
He buys me a drink, and we retire to the beer garden, mixing it with the smokers and wild birds feeding in the tree above us. Its not a bad life, all in all.
After a refill, we go to the diner up the street and have burgers and huge plates of fries and mayo and strong Barley Wine to go with it all. I had no eaten since breakfast, so was hungry, and I can tell you, that it was all good, even though very unhealthy indeed.
Another short walk away was the Mikkler Bar, so we retire there to sample some unusual beers, and at that point I thought we would be calling it a night. Show me the Highlander Bar he asks.
Hmm, I thought I could go in and just have one, so I agree, and we walk along near-deserted streets to the bar, where Julian perks up when he finds he has some ex-forces drinkers in.
We sample the pineapple rum, and some other rum. Then it got silly and we switched onto some far eastern whisky he had just brought back after meeting with the distillers. It was good, aged in sherry casks and is was luscious. Sadly, Julian told me there was an even better one, although twice the price. I can’t resist, and have one for the road, and leave some £65 lighter.
From there it was a short walk back up the hill to the hotel, Shaggs walks back to the station, and all is quiet, apart from the Pokemon players running around on the grass near to the hotel; keeps them fit I suppose.
Life teaches us that many times, what you see is not what is actually seen.
This picture for example, it may seem a lot of things:
the earth seen from space with its waterways, a slide burned, spilled black ink on a white canvas.
Or even an ultrasound, sunspot or even the lungs of a smoker.
What our eyes can perceive is based on our emotional level.
This photo, in reality, it is simply a view of the sky from the bottom-up through the branches.

La previsió d’Adif és que l’estiu de 2025 comencin a circular trens de mercaderies d’ample internacional des de Seat Martorell cap a França per la Castellbisbal – Mollet i la LAV, així com al port.
La 335.006 de Transfesa con el papelero Girona Mercancías-Zaragoza Corbera Alta entra en Castellbisbal por vía 4, con la cabecera norte ya remodelada y en servicio parcial. Se han renovado 8,1 km de vías para el posterior 3r carril y se han instalado 23 desvíos de ancho mixto y 1 cambiador de hilo. También se ha renovado catenaria, nuevos equipamientos de vía y sistemas de señalización, gestión del tráfico y cambio de software. La previsión de Adif es que en verano de 2025 empiecen a circular trenes de mercancías de ancho internacional desde Seat Martorell hacia Francia por la Castellbisbal – Mollet y la LAV, así como también hacia el puerto.
The locomotive 335.006 of Transfesa with the Girona Mercancías-Zaragoza Corbera Alta paper train enters Castellbisbal on track 4, with the northern end of the line already remodelled and partially in service. A total of 8.1 km of track has been renewed for the 3rd rail and 23 mixed gauge points have been installed, as well as 1 line switcher. Catenary, new track equipment and signalling Systems and traffic management have also been carried out. Adif expects international gauge goods trains to start running from Seat Martorell to France via the Castellbisbal - Mollet and the HSL, as well as to the port, in the summer of 2025.

"55 Broadway is a Grade I listed building overlooking St. James's Park in London. It was designed by Charles Holden and built between 1927 and 1929; in 1931 the building earned him the RIBA London Architecture Medal.
"It was constructed as a new headquarters for the Underground Electric Railways Company of London (UERL), the main forerunner of London Underground. Upon completion, it was the tallest office block in the city.
"Faced with Portland stone and covering a site with an irregular footprint, the upper office floors of the building are on a cruciform plan, stepping back towards the central clock tower at the top. The cruciform design afforded the optimum level of natural light to the offices. The ground floor now contains a shopping arcade and many art deco details. Previously the ground floor was also given over to London Transport offices, including a travel information centre, cash office and a library. The whole building straddles St. James's Park tube station, the east and west wings being immediately above the railway tunnel. When finished it was the tallest steel-framed office building in London, until another Holden building, the University of London's Senate House (based on similar designs and materials), took the accolade.
"On each elevation, the pediment above the sixth floor is decorated with a relief, collectively known as 'the four winds', although the four points of the compass are repeated twice for a total of eight reliefs. Each relief was carved by an avant-garde sculptor of the day.
"Halfway along the north and east facades are a matched pair of sculptures, Day and Night by Jacob Epstein. The modernism and graphic nakedness of these sculptures created public outrage on their unveiling. Newspapers started a campaign to have the statues removed and one company director, Lord Colwyn, offered to pay the cost. Frank Pick, the managing director of the UERL at the time, took overall responsibility and offered his resignation over the scandal. In the end, Epstein agreed to remove 1.5 inches from the penis of the smaller figure on Day and ultimately the furore died down."

Today, Compass Bus took over 5 buses worth of East Sussex County Council tenders previously operated by Renown. SN 53 ETK was seen in Newhaven this morning on the 123 to Lewes.
With 10 Points in the book only 2 was needed but this 3 point shot did it and for the 4th time in Program History a player passed the 1,000 Points mark.

Oystercatcher, Skomer, Pembrokeshire - 1st June 2012
Other than the song of the Warblers on the Island, there is one call that resonates throughout, with Footpaths crisscrossing the land at various points, the best spots to nest seem to be fairly close by, and with a fair amount of traffic walking past the resident Oystercatchers kick up quite a din. But also means they're quite photogenic.

Unusual apartments, at the north end, are a striking feature of Middlesbrough Cricket Club's Acklam Park ground. The North Yorkshire & South Durham ECB Premier League XI are warming up ahead of a T20 Challenge match with Yorkshire Vikings. Yorkshire's first visit to the venue since 1996 attracted a bumper crowd.
The Vikings made a losing return to Teesside as the home team won by four wickets with eight balls to spare. Two club professionals, Seaton Carew's Usman Arshad and Great Ayton's Pitigala Jeewantha, were the NYSD heroes. Both hit half-centuries in adding 95 for the fourth wicket after the NYSD had slipped to 44-3. Beating Yorkshire saw the NYSD follow up their even more emphatic victory, at Hartlepool earlier in the season, over a Durham Jets XI.
When Yorkshire last played a first class game at Acklam Park, 22 years ago, Darren Gough and Michael Vaughan featured in a County Championship victory over Sussex. Yorkshire then decided to play the bulk of their home matches at Headingley, Leeds, with North Marine Road, Scarborough, the sole out-ground.
Acklam Park opened in 1929. Middlesbrough Rugby Union Club have played at the ground since its opening, Middlesbrough Cricket Club since 1932, when the latter became joint owners of the site. The rugby union club paid £1,200 in 1928 for what was then a 12-acre field. The Acklam Park name was adopted in 1930. A new clubhouse, opened in 2008, transformed the ground's off-the-field facilities. It features changing rooms, a bar, a cafe, a gym, a function room and a lounge.

Initial achieved through using a small penlight, and quickly making a backward D, the way I sign it. The initial took about 4 seconds, and then I held the pose for a further second. This made my arm look static.

Sandia is assisting Department of Homeland Security in developing an open standard that specifies security requirements, operational procedures, and communications protocols that allow for continuous monitoring of cargo container integrity and automated integrity checking of containers at key points in shipping process. The standards being developed will allow for the creation of flexible container security components that can be integrated with exiting maritime containers and truck trailers, and be tailored to operational concepts of individual organizations.

The final outing for the month was to Simply Bee Farm, where beekeeper Kent Ford shared about the work he does and how much the bees do. “I can say with certainty that we have a lot more appreciation for the hard working honey bees!” says Shauna Lee.
“The visit was capped off with a snack of fresh baked bread, thickly slathered with honey butter… yummy!” Shauna Lee adds. “There were sample jars of honey for each of us to take home, and many of us purchased from the Simply Bee shop.”
