Point D'Entrecasteaux
We originally planned to go to Denmark, but lost our way. Suburban road Australia is always remote that you can not find a car or a building several hours, not to mention see the figures, we were lucky to see a written "Hill Brook brand" between the forest, and I realized that there is a liquor village, when we were closer there heard a dog barking loudly! We were afraid that the dog will bite, till we saw him, he is a fat fat Labrador and cute! The sound of the engine of agricultural machinery in the distance, we continued to walk to the next side, didn't take long time to see the owner was standing in the tool room, we had mediately explained what we needed, the owner gave us a map and told us that we could go to Northcliffe first and take break.
When we arrived the visitor center in Northcliffe, there was a lot of travel information, including Windy Harbour presentation was very appealing to me and about half an hour's drive from the town of Northcliffe, immediately decided to go there!!
Windy Harbour has the 8 spots (Windy Harbour, Cathedral Rock, Saimon Beach, Saimon Beach Lookout, Gardner Lookout, Sunset Lookout, Tookulup, Point D'Entrecasteaux), it can be said is a very complete package tour for us to drive our small car with 2WD, there are many trails for walking with the edge of the cliff watching the scenery, it's a perfect place for sort time travel!

Went down to Point Peron again for some shots as I thought the sunset might be a good one. It wasn't fiery or anything, but the clouds and light were awesome

Point Loma from Churchill Place. After we checked into our hotel on Coronado, we went out to get lunch on Orange Avenue. After that we asked a couple of kids how to get to the beach. They pointed off to the west and said that just about any street we took would bring us there. This is the one we chose.
One of the two trail heads for the lookout. From this point the trip is about a mile. We drove up the road a bit to the other trail head where the trip is about a half mile.

Nash Point Lighthouse
Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan CF61 - Wales, UK
Nash Point, between Barry and Porthcawl on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast has two lighthouse towers. These were built in 1832 and were sited exactly 1000 feet apart being originally used to assist navigators to avoid the Nash Sandbank, a notorious shipping hazard. The lower west light was later dismantled leaving just the tower; the east light remains in use. The lighthouse was the last one to be manned in Wales, being automated in 1998.
Point Wilson Lighthouse - Port Townsend, Washington
This lighthouse was built in 1913.
I used a kite to fly the camera.
Been awhile since I've ridden this bike. Cruised down to Fort Point to see if there was any action going on in the water... nada. Low tide = VW Beetle size rocks to smash your head into.

We encountered the set up of a check point last night on our way home. It was an impressive show with the lights, the cars in formation, and the table full of Popeye's chicken for the police officers.
This was the last place i passed that was not radioactive. Hunters point was the base for the nations nuclear home defense research. It is now a superfund site with an intensive cleanup in progress. This place is completely insane, the entire perimeter is surrounded by sprinklers to keep the radioactive dust down, and there are water trucks that do nothing but drive around all day shooting thirty foot jets of water in every direction, as i rode through what was left of the streets i would constantly encounter these water trucks, they would stop the blast just long enough to let me pass. at one point I came across a check point where there was a table full of geiger cointers. the heavy equipment operators use them to sweep their tractors for radioactive material of an unnaceptably high level and then clean it off, ensuring that the city is not contaminated. there are tractors everywhere moving piles of rubble seperating materials and demolishing unsalvagable buildings. there are also hundreds of car sized sealed drums marked radioactive waste. I treated every basin I could find and talked to as many people as possible. this is without a doubt one of the coolest things i have seen on this job.
