The former bus depot at Llandudno Junction still exists but is abandoned and, in August 2017, looks rather a sorry sight. Arriva Buses Wales now park their buses in a corner of the Alpine of Llandudno depot where I saw ageing Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer B27F 844 Y544UJC, new to Arriva Cymru in 2001.
Rabbit is an English Pointer Mix, and she does in fact go on point from time to time. She's seen here yesterday afternoon pointing a deer. Sometimes she points with lovely, classical, Alfred Duke dog-portrait form, but never when I have a camera in hand. :)
More often Rabbit's pointing is a signal of uncertainty or indecision. She'll go on a wobbly, tentative point if you call her and she can't quite decide whether to respond, of if she's torn between coming over for a hug or checking out a delicious smell from the kitchen.
It makes me wonder whether pointing in the hunting fields starts out as a sign of indecision. "Do I sprint and try to catch this thing now, or do I stalk it for another step or two before I take off?"

I take my German Shorthaired Pointer to the woodland adjacent to Phalaborwa for his weekly exercise, and mine. I always take my camera and macro lens with me to shoot butterflies and all sorts of insects and wild flowers.

The Yue Loong Datsun Sunny 101 pick-up was a hugely successful pick-up and still has its fan following in Taiwan, there are still quite some on the road. It was succeeded by the Nissan Sunny B13 pick-up (sold as AD Resort pick-up), but it probably couldn't match the numbers of its classic predecessor. Proton also tried with the Jumbuck/Arena, while Volkswagen sold the Brazilian Saveiro pick-up as Pointer. Not common in Taiwan.

I put the camera on self-timer, with no flash, and I was inside in the evening when the light was low. I then pulled out the laser pointer and shone it all around the room - when the self-timer opened the shutter it captured the random patterns I was making.
SN05HEJ was a Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer B29F new as First Devon & Cornwall number 43849 in May 2005. It is now in the Glasgow fleet, and was captured in Clydebank while working on the 81 service.
Prompt: A full body painting of a German Wirehaired pointer dog, standing on a grassy field with a blurred background. The dog has a short, brindle coat with a black saddle and white markings on its legs and chest. It is wearing a blue collar with a silver buckle. The dog's ears are floppy and its tail is docked. The lighting is natural. The dog is looking to the side, with a calm and alert expression --ar 5:4 --v 7

Y189 CFS is a Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer new to Lothian Buses in August 2001 as their 189. Lothian sold it to Lanarkshire independent operator JMB Travel of Newmains who operated for a couple of years before it joined the Skyline fleet. It still retains JMB Travel's green and cream livery.
First Cymru Alexander Dennis Pointer-bodied Dart 42882 passes through the village of New Hedges, north of Tenby, when operating Pembrokeshire County Council-contracted Service 381 (Haverfordwest-Narberth-Kilgetty-Saundersfoot-Tenby) in June 2016.
This was during the first few weeks since the demise of the previous contractor, Silcox of Pembroke Dock. First Cymru was to hold the contract for only about a year, and it then passed to Whitland-based Bysiau Cwm Taf.
42882 is from a batch of eight that transferred from the First Glasgow fleet in late 2007 / early 2008, and are now in the course of withdrawal. She was the first to come out of service and passed to a local college for apprenticeship training in 2019.
I saw rays of tenderness touched up the icy pointers to the final destination... Perhaps Heaven is not so scary...
