Got a call from my friend at 8:30 this morning to say that this young buck was in the car park of the local service station on the approach road to Honiton. it is rare to see Red Deer in and around this area and much rarer to be able to get so close. A real Sunday treat.
With a clear and mild evening forecast we thought it rude not to take 3238 out for some night photography and the first opportunity was in the well light car park of the Grasshopper Pub at Moorhouse between Oxted and Westerham. Saturday 26th September 2015.

Stephensons Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer 2 EU05 CZA stands at Braintree working the 9 service to Great Notley. Was new to the company in 2005. Looking quite tidy and showing the desination display. This is now history with the site demolished to make way for a big development including health center, Hotel, Shops and a Bus interchange. Temmporary stands are at Manor street, Fairfield road and Victoria street.. Let us hope the new one is better than that disaster at Colchester.
