"Family" is such an important term, yet it is often difficult to define. It becomes much clearer when this word is used as a concept rather than a specific entity.
Here is my "family portrait" of Sharon, Matt, and Fred...friends who embody the true spirit of the term.
After getting back into town this afternoon I needed to do some laundry. Here is our super shady, smelly laundry room. But at least we have one. (it is in a separate building behind our apartment)
O deputado Bruno Ganem, do Podemos São Paulo, participou do lançamento da Frente Parlamentar de Proteção às Pessoas Autistas. O deputado Glaustin da Fokus, de Goiás, será o terceiro vice-presidente do colegiado. A presidente estadual do Podemos Mulher Goiás, Larissa Lafaiete, também participou da reunião e reforçou o comprometimento do partido na defesa dos direitos pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista – TEA.
Além disso, o evento contou com a mostra do trabalho do artista autista, Augusto Mangussi, que expos quadros levados pela mãe Larissa.

Deputados e senadores do Podemos reuniram-se para debater a simplificação tributária, com foco na PEC 46, do senador Oriovisto Guimarães. Linha geral da PEC é a simplificação de regras dos impostos sobre serviços, tais como ISS e ICMS. A reforma para reduzir o emaranhado tributário e impulsionar a economia é unanimidade entre os parlamentares do partido, proposta que conta com o apoio de mais de 120 entidades do #SimplificaJá.

The London Eye has pods or capsules, each fitting quite many people (20 or so). Ours was privately reserved for our group, with champagne served!
It's been way too long since my last day of snowboarding.
It was freezing cold up in Killington. The wind was howling, so much that it was possible to snowboard upnill! And, every so often the ice was interrupted by a little snow.
But, I had a fantastic time since the thousands of people covering every inch of the mountain included some of my favorites.
This is just a simple snapshot. Then again, I hope that sometimes a simple snapshot can capture the soul of an individual.
Danit has been helping out as a volunteer for our adaptive rock climbing program for children with disabilities for some time now. This is even more impressive when you realize how young she is. At an age when most kids are spending money hanging out in malls, Danit has been helping children with special challeges to "reach new heights". Just as I hope that you can see the warmth in Danit's heart, hopefully this snapshot also shows how much Peter benefits from Danit's contributions.
