Three humpback whales off the coast of Cape Cod.
(Is it considered a pod if there are three of them? I don't know for sure.)
After having lots of problems getting previous pods to maturity, I finally lucked out and got seeds from my plant. Really excited!
POD 249 - A view into our home furnace. It broke down yesterday. We spent a cold night under double blankets. It was a simple repair, done today. Warmth again.
These pods have been falling for the last week or two. We had a particularly hot day yesterday, and it seems to have accelerated this process.
There may not be anything special about my portrait technique, but there is much that is special about this individual.
This is a quick snapshot of Nancy during her surprise "going away" party. It is true that Nancy isn't really going far (only to another part of the hospital) but for an individual who has worked so closely with all of us in the department, the day-to-day interaction with her will be missed. I'm relatively new to the department but I have quickly come to appreciate Nancy's assistance in guiding the "clueless new guy" as well as our pleasant conversations about beautiful places.
I wish Nancy well in this next step of her career and I look forward to more conversations along the way.
Cheers.
