This glass pod-like futuristic elevator lifts guests to their rooms in the largest hotel lobby in the world, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel San Francisco. Located at the foot of Market Street and The Embarcadero in the financial district of San Francisco, this inner atrium has been described by the San Francisco Chronicle's architecture critic John King as a "temple of hermetic urbanism" in a "self-contained sci-fi" style. The atrium measures 350 feet long, 160 feet wide and 17-stories high.

Our Mesquite Trees are producing pods and that means we can grind them into flour soon as they are totally dried. We get very little rain here in Albuquerque, but with the little monsoonal flow we've had it's been enough to produce some pods. Mesquite flour is very sweet and tasty.
Mesquite (from Nahuatl mizquitl ['miskit͡ɬ]) is a leguminous plant of the Prosopis genus found in northern Mexico through the Sonoran Desert and Chihuahuan Deserts, and up into the Southwestern United States as far north as southern Kansas, west to the Colorado Desert in California, and east to the eastern fifth of Texas, where average annual rainfall is in excess of 40 in (100 cm). Several species are found in arid to semi-arid regions of southern and western South America.-Wikipedia

Nicky and the girls. A shot from one of last week's encounters with Nicky's pod. Believed to be over 35 years old, Nicky is the oldest known dolphin in the Port. She lives in her natal pod with her female offspring, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. Arguably the most well known dolphin in the Port, there's always a buzz of excitement onboard when you're in Nicky's company.

4- No mar, na piscina, na lagoa ou até num tanque, nada melhor que um mergulho para aliviar o calor dessa estação!
-----------O gradiente pode ser feito em qualquer técnica (o tradicional esponjado, aquela em que se pinta uma unha em cada tom - do mais claro ao mais escuro, etc.) e vale usar esmaltes de quaisquer tons e acabamentos, desde que a cor seja azul!
Gente essa semana foi de mudança no meu trabalho, então mexi muito com pastas arquivo, to com as unhas detonadas :(
Perdoem o machucadinho no dedo médio e pra completar tava sem acetona. Esmaltei no maior cuidado pra não sujar, pensa que tenso rs
Mas quanto a mani, usei o Poder Perolado, que ganhei da Nina numa troquinha, pena que ela parou de postar por aqui!! Ah e fiz um esponjado com o Hypnose da Jade nas pontas. A foto não mostrou muito, mas ao vivo ficou bem mais legal!!

After two movies and a series of Mater related short films Pixar began to tire of Larry the Cable Guy. it was decided that the best way to get rid of him would be to enter him as a racer in the Boonta Eve Classic with a custom built Mater themed podracer. Between the lack of relfex or skill from the pilot and the delibrately shoddy imagineering of the racer itself, Pixar was certain they would be rid of Larry and just in time for the "Tragedy" to boost ticket sales and start an early Oscar buzz for 2012.
After nearly a year of failed models, slowly progressing WIPs and a lack of time, inspiration and money along came the Quasi-Annual FBTB 2011 Podracer Challenge. The very thing that drew me out of my dim ages lurking around the AFOL interwebs two years ago has given me another little kick in the pants. To be honest I had no use for Cars when it came out but my 3 year old loves it and so it and the even funnier Cars Toons have grown on me. I wanted to build something my son would enjoy so I went with the two themes he'd enjoy most Cars or Ben 10. I wanted to build a racer based on Kevin Leven's car , but Odin won out and Mater it was. I was originally incorporating more greebling and colours into the Mater pod, but the boy insisted that "Mater is brown!" and how can you argue with that?
