Am not entirely sure if this is Sirloin or Top Sirloin steak from Meat Plus. All I'm sure is it was cooked medium rare as always!

Part of a batch I’ve posted before, but seem to have gone missing when I managed to accidentally let Aperture delete a load of photos from Flickr.

When the weather isn't great, I'll sometimes use Calgary's excellent raised walkway system (AKA Plus 15 System) as a workout replacement for walking in one of the parks. Although I didn't measure this with a GPS, the route I walked today was about 8 km's. I park in Chinatown, as there is free parking on the streets there, until 9 a.m. The images portray only a fragment of this system, and there are many other interesting buildings and sights.
Calgary has about 18 kilometers and counting of these raised walkways with 63 bridges (more being added yearly with new construction). This makes Calgary’s plus 15 system the largest of its kind in the world according to the City of Calgary.

Vieux de cinq siècles, le pont qui permet de passer de Malzéville à Nancy est issu de la volonté du duc René II de relier Nancy à ses terres de l’autre rive de la Meurthe. Indistinctement appelée Vieux Pont, Pont de Pierre ou Pont de Malzéville, l’une des plus vieilles « figures » de Malzéville profite de l’année de la Renaissance pour recevoir un nom digne de son grand âge : le Pont Renaissance.
À cette occasion, le dimanche 30 juin 2013, le pont s'est paré des couleurs de la Renaissance. Le temps d’une journée, il a accueilli une foire typique des XVe et XVIe siècles. À côté des merveilleuses machines, les échoppes d’artisans ont cotoyé les étals, où l’a pu déguster les mets et boissons de l’époque ; musiciens, conteurs et autres saltimbanques ont apporté la touche festive idéale pour célébrer la renaissance du Pont.

A quick portrait of the "other dog", Buddy's friend G+. His tag reads G Plus because the tags could not read a character symbol, but it doesn't matter to us, G+ is easy to say and obviously this dog knows his name now. It's been 3 1/2 months we've had him now and is completely part of this family. This photo shows why he is considered a Papillion mix dog: his one ear cocks down and there is a slight touch of white edging his right ear. Both of these characteristics exclude him from being a pedigree or show dog. We don't care about that at all, but I did have to chuckle that the only two characteristics called out in official information about his breed are exactly what our dog shows. He's a cutie and a lover, although we could do with less of his constant "on alert" status and barking.
ISS is on the right, going right to left and the mystery object is going top to bottom and the massive flare at the bottom is massively overexposed slither of Moon. Tentatively labelling "other" as Cosmo Skymed 1
