Converted the original to 32-bit so that i could use the Tone Mapping plugin. After applying the filter with default settings, enhanced the overall color by making it cooler with the TM filter.

I "tweaked" some of the highlights back into the clouds and reflections in the water with the ps dodge tool and then boosted saturation on the blues in the sky and water with the PS sponge tool... pretty amazing even for a crappy low-rez original image. I spent all of 5 minutes messing around with the image, imagine if i had been working with a larger image and spent a little more time with it???
