Eenmaal met de Normandy Express in Lissieux aangekomen moest de stoomlocomotief onder de kathedraal verzorgd worden. Ook de reizigers trokken de stad in om de inwendige mens te verzorgen. Hilarisch waren dan ook de beelden dat het ogenschijnlijke enig geopende cafeetje in de buurt van het station plots zo'n 200 gasten kreeg. 1 juni 2001.
1840-1867 (Green Mount Cemetery) Michael O'Laughlen was a friend and confidant of John Wilkes Booth. He was involved in an aborted plan to kidnap Abraham Lincoln weeks prior to the historic night at Washington's Ford Theatre. During the assassination investigation a letter was found in John Wilkes' hotel room written by Samuel Arnold (another co-conspirator) that mentioned the young Irishman Michael O'Laughlen. He turned himself in and was taken to Fort Jefferson where he eventually died of yellow fever at the age of 27.
"TELL LAURA I LOVE HER ( The Musical ) " was performed during 1st - 4th of July 2009 . However it lacked suitable original music to complement its old song material and possessed a much too corny a plot together with other inconsistencies to impress.
Laura was advertised as a new rock' n' roll musical play but it was hardly that : it would have required a complete re-write to appeal to the wider public. Though its publicity flyer suggested it was the 2007 copyright of Richard C Hague that assertion would have been impossible to prove.

The 1960 death disc styled hit song "Tell Laura I Love Her," was written by Jeff Barry and Ben Raleigh and first recorded by Ray Petersen a young and popular American vocalist . Later that same year a recording by EMI Columbia England's own young vocalist Ricky Valance was issued .The Ricky Valance version's issue followed the U.K. Decca Record Company's abandonment of its intended issuing of the Ray Peterson recording in reaction to hostile public criticism of the song's lyrics .

This is the first season of me working my own allotment, i had wroked a small patch of my dads a couple of seasons back but became despondent due to his constant nit picking. Anyhoo, i have harvested quite a lot so far but never had my camera handy until yesterday. So far i have pulled all my spinach, 6 white cabbages, a mountain of strawberries, a few onions, broccoli, then yesterday i picked a load of peas, a few lil tommytomoes & 5 colliflowers.
This is proper food that tastes fantastic & has had absolutely no contact with any chemicals what so ever & it free - just a little effort for a massive reward.
I don't normally like to take photographs with power lines in them. However, given that the subject of this photo is the great Mr. Edison, I'll allow it this time...
"Let there be light." Thomas Alva Edison's Menlo Park Laboratory and Memorial Tower. Those of us on the Jersey Shore call it the "Big Ass Lightbulb!”
The Edison Tower, located on the site of the original laboratory at Menlo Park, New Jersey, to which Thomas Alva Edison moved in 1876, was erected in 1937 as a monument to the great inventor. The Tower is the gift of William Slocum Barstow to The Thomas Alva Edison Foundation Incorporated in behalf of the Edison Pioneers. It was dedicated on February 11, 1838, the ninety-first anniversary of the inventor's birth.
Rising 131 ft. 4 in. above the ground, the tower looms as the highest discernible object for many miles. Surmounting the 117 ft. 8 in. concrete-slab structure is a 13 ft. 8 in. replica of the original incandescent lamp which, when illuminated, can be seen for a distance of several miles. It once served as an airplane beacon. The Tower is designed for pressure of wind at a velocity of 120 miles per hour. In its construction, which consumed slightly less than eight months, approximately 1200 barrels of Edison Portland cement and 50 tons of reinforced steel were used.
The large bulb on top of the Tower was cast by the Corning Glass Works. The replica bulb contains 153 separate pieces of amber tinted Pyrex glass, 2 in. thick, set upon a steel frame. The bulb is 5 ft. in diameter at the neck and 9 ft. 2 in. in diameter at the greatest width and weighs, without the steel frame on which it is placed, in excess of three tons. Inside this Pyrex glass bulb were four 1000 watt bulbs, four 200 watt bulbs, and four 100 watt bulbs. A duplicate of each was arranged as automatically to cut in should its companion bulb fail. The bulb is not currently functional.
The Edison Tower is being completely restored and when complete, the bulb will be illuminated with modern Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology. Mr. Edison would be pleased with this, I’m sure.
While we don’t have any records of exactly what was said when Mr. Edison perfected his invention, I suspect one of his workers shouted out something like this: “Holy Mother of Baby Jesus on a Donkey!” “Mr. Edison, You’ve done it!!! You’ve perfected the Electric Light!!! You truly are King of Kings!!!!”
The tower is located on a mysterious plot of land and exactly at midnight on the night of a full moon, it would be a perfect site for the ritual sacrifice of virgins. Too bad we don’t have any virgins in New Jersey! :-)

This is my whole garden plot. The top-left corner is the apple tree, and the bottom-right corner is the square-foot box.
A chip plot of the very first ARM CPU which sprang in to life on 26th April 1985. It was implemented in 3um CMOS using 24,800 transistors, ran at 6MHz and consumed 120mW.
Plotter sketches for a new series. Studio Mode graciously let me use their CNC cutter to do these.
These particular ones are a revisit of the Ornament pieces I did for Darkness Descends. They're not intended for final production since I already have a good format for that series.

Head sculpt for my newest puppet, the 'Plot Device Fairy.' Eva thinks she looks like the 'Octo-Mom.'
This is just the clay sculpt for the mold; the finished puppet won't be dark green. She'll likely be pale-skinned with all black eyes and spiky orange hair.
The tallest waterfall in the Plotter Kill Preserve at 60'. Not the optimum flow level, but worth the trip. The summer was so dry, no water was flowing here at all, and even now when it rains water levels unpredictable. But a great day for hiking... and cloudy, which saturates the fall colors. CP used.
