This is the first season of me working my own allotment, i had wroked a small patch of my dads a couple of seasons back but became despondent due to his constant nit picking. Anyhoo, i have harvested quite a lot so far but never had my camera handy until yesterday. So far i have pulled all my spinach, 6 white cabbages, a mountain of strawberries, a few onions, broccoli, then yesterday i picked a load of peas, a few lil tommytomoes & 5 colliflowers.
This is proper food that tastes fantastic & has had absolutely no contact with any chemicals what so ever & it free - just a little effort for a massive reward.

This is my whole garden plot. The top-left corner is the apple tree, and the bottom-right corner is the square-foot box.
A chip plot of the very first ARM CPU which sprang in to life on 26th April 1985. It was implemented in 3um CMOS using 24,800 transistors, ran at 6MHz and consumed 120mW.
Plotter sketches for a new series. Studio Mode graciously let me use their CNC cutter to do these.
These particular ones are a revisit of the Ornament pieces I did for Darkness Descends. They're not intended for final production since I already have a good format for that series.

WIFE'S DISCOVERY.
AN INQUEST ADJOURNED.
A man named Charles George Rivers,aged 47, a partner in a loan company, who lived with his wife in a boardinghouse in Wellington Street, was found dead in bed at 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday. At the inquest, which was opened by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this morning, evidence was given that Rivers arose at the usual hour on Tuesday, and left for his office. At 11.15 a maid entered his room and found him in bed smoking a cigarette. She asked Rivers if he was ill and he replied that he had contracted a chill. He told the maid not to bother doing the room. Later the same day, Mrs. Rivers discovered that her husband was not at his office, and on returning to the boardinghouse at 5.30 p.m. she found him dead, in bed.
Deceased was a returned soldier and had been in ill health. The inquest was adjourned to enable medical evidence to be given as to the result of a postmortem which was held.

WIFE'S TRAGIC DISCOVERY.
OPENING OF THE INQUEST.
An inquest was opened by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday into the death of Charles George Rivers, aged 47, an agent, who was found dead in his bedroom at his home at 47, Wellington Street, City, on Tuesday.
Deceased's wife Ida May Rivers, stated that her husband had left home on Tuesday morning for his office. She had gone to meet him at noon, but had not seen him, and on making an inquiry at his office had been informed that be had left in the morning and had not returned. When she reached home about 5.30 p.m. she discovered her husband dead in bed.
A housemaid, Catherine Donovan, said that when she went to deceased's room at 11.15 a.m. he was lying in bed smoking a cigarette. Witness asked him if he were ill, and he said he thought he had caught a slight chill. Witness did not see him again.
The coroner then adjourned the inquest to obtain medical evidence.

Head sculpt for my newest puppet, the 'Plot Device Fairy.' Eva thinks she looks like the 'Octo-Mom.'
This is just the clay sculpt for the mold; the finished puppet won't be dark green. She'll likely be pale-skinned with all black eyes and spiky orange hair.
The tallest waterfall in the Plotter Kill Preserve at 60'. Not the optimum flow level, but worth the trip. The summer was so dry, no water was flowing here at all, and even now when it rains water levels unpredictable. But a great day for hiking... and cloudy, which saturates the fall colors. CP used.

I travel as much as I can when I am out and about archiving the places I visit, over the past few years I have covered most of the cemetery's in and around Aberdeen and the shire .
I archive any war graves I come across during these visits, making a point of capturing the plot whether it be a recognised CWGC stone or a family commissioned stone, my aim is to enable any family with loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice find the stone recognising their contribution,rank etc and date of passing.
I have gathered hundreds of these photo in my archives, my initial post will have generic tags , name of cemetery with the date I visited, I revisit my posts when I have time and then add additional information like, name , rank etc.

Definition
The term "war grave" does not only apply to graves: ships sunk during wartime are often considered to be war graves, as are military aircraft that crash into water; this is particularly true if crewmen perished inside the vehicle. Classification of a war grave is not limited to the occupier's death in combat but includes military personnel who die while in active service: for example, during the Crimean War, more military personnel died of disease than as a result of enemy action.
A common difference between cemeteries of war graves and those of civilian peacetime graves is the uniformity of those interred. They generally died during a relatively short period, in a small geographic area and consist of service members from the few military units involved.
Jurisdiction
In Australia, the Office of Australian War Graves controls the maintenance of war cemeteries, plots, individual graves, post-war commemorations and battle exploit memorials.
In the Commonwealth of Nations, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission is responsible for the commemoration of 1.7 million deceased Commonwealth military service members at over 23,000 separate burial sites in 153 countries.
It operates through the financial support of six member states (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa).
In Spain, war graves are protected by the Law 60/1962.
In the United Kingdom, 67 ship wrecks and all underwater military aircraft are "protected places" under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986 which imposes restrictions on their exploration and marine salvage.
In the United States, war graves are managed within the United States National Cemetery System.
In popular culture
Rupert Brooke's 1914 poem, The Soldier - "If I should die, think only this of me: / That there's some corner of a foreign field / That is for ever England", is a patriotic poem about the possibility of dying abroad during a war. Brooke is himself buried in a war grave on Skyros in the Aegean Sea, having died while en route to fight in the Gallipoli Campaign.
The War Graves Photographic Project, founded in 2008, aims to create an archive of names and photographs of all military graves and memorials from 1914 to the present day from any nationality, although focus on Commonwealth soldiers.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is an intergovernmental organisation of six independent member states whose principal function is to mark, record and maintain the graves and places of commemoration of Commonwealth of Nations military service members who died in the two World Wars. The Commission is also responsible for commemorating Commonwealth civilians who died as a result of enemy action during World War II.
The Commission was founded by Sir Fabian Ware and constituted through Royal Charter in 1917 named the Imperial War Graves Commission. The change to the present name took place in 1960.
The Commission, as part of its mandate, is responsible for commemorating all Commonwealth war dead individually and equally. To this end, the war dead are commemorated by name on a headstone, at an identified site of a burial, or on a memorial.
