Built circa 1842 to carry boat traffic over the Plotter Kill as part of the Enlarged Erie Canal. The aqueduct was in use till about 1915. Rotterdam, New York.
Not actually my bike. Just thought it would make for a nifty title. Shot in August 2020.

The Newell Family Cemetery near tiny New Bedford,IL. It contains the final resting place for generations of this area family, and unlike most other family plots, is located off a fairly busy road. Maintenance has been an issue in the past, but this visit found things tidy. The old fence, not so much....
A drake American Wigeon (Anas americana) homes in on his target...a hen preening herself off-camera. Unfortunately for him, she wasn't interested.
