Two hibiscus flowers—one red, one creamy white, they look less like flowers and more like feisty flamenco dancers mid-performance. The red one twirled with passion, the white responded with grace, and I joined their rhythm with a slow, intentional camera movement (ICM).
I tried to capture their fleeting duet—not sharp petals, but motion, mood, and music. The fact that you make pictures of what you visualise, rather than what you see, makes ICM photography both challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

For those who don't know how I did it:
Back in these days before high quality digital cameras I would develop film myself after regular class hours in photography / graphic arts room at school. I would only take a couple of pictures at the end of a roll of film so I could quickly cut those off and if anyone wanted to see the negatives of what I was shooting it would look like I just didn't shoot the whole roll ;-)

The train was stopped on a siding waiting for a freight to pass. I went downstairs, opened the window and saw this lone stand of trees on an other wise white, barren hillside. Even to my naked eye it looked like a painting, maybe a water color. I liked the soft pastel quality of it also.
In the Hybrid map you can actually see the siding area.

The beauty of Saksun, Streymoy (Faroe Islands).
Saksun is a village located near the north-west coast of the Faroese island of Streymoy.
The settlement lies in the bottom of what used to be an inlet of the ocean, surrounded by high mountains. The fjord was a good deep natural harbour, until a storm blocked it with sand. This transformed the old harbour into a unaccesible seawater lagoon named Pollurin.

You may know that I love cats. Wherever I see a cat, I must go and pat its head. I am a cat person and proud of it. I also love dogs, but sometimes they can be scary. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that all these street animals need to be loved. So is this scruffy mess with the garbage.
