My twist on the Playdate Dress from Craftiness is not Optional.

Marissa came over last week and we spent the day playing with the art supplies Santa brought me. We started with cheap drawing paper and three random prompts: white-out, window, and food. We also decided that we did not have to use all three prompts at once.. :P
These two satisfied the "window" prompt, even though one looks more like rocks than a window.
Size 18-24 months. For Ruby's Fall 2012 wardrobe. This was made from leftover fabric from Ruby's 6 month dress. It's a micro houndstooth and I LOVE it. The dot fabric is flocked and I used corded piping instead of flat.

Charlotte informed me yesterday that if you want to play in the sand you have to take your pants off, take your shoes off and take your SHIRT OFF and don't throw it. Advice for all of us.

Kumo had his first playdate at home the other day. This is his BFF Elsie that he plays with at the dog park a lot and Elsie's mom and dad took Cassidy and another girl her age to a cool event at an animal rehabilitation center the other day so we dog sat Eslie. They played non-stop the entire time.
They are seriously so cute together. One always has the leg or tail or foot or ear or cheek or JAW in the other's mouth.
