Taken on the way home from work one day. Can't believe platform was so empty so managed to get a moody shot of a single commuter at this wonderfully photogenic underground station. Thanks for looking.
56049 makes light work of its short load on 6K38 Pinnox to Crewe after running round at Stafford 01/04/21. Freight is normally uncommon in this platform due to the length of them, although this working seems to use it quite often
Having just emerged from Woodhead tunnel, 76012 & 13 pass the platforms of the closed Dunford Bridge station as they head east on a rake of 16t mineral wagons. The stone building to the right - the base of a water tower - was a surviving remnant of the original station, which shut when the new Woodhead tunnel and track alignment opened in 1954. 30.12.1980.
Another challenge and intriguing photography experiment attempting to capture a very busy Sydney train platform on a Friday evening. Lots going on. Places to go to.
Platform 7. After 7 months it is finally finished. Having something viewable from all sides as well as the top and bottom of every surface certainly increased the work but I think it was worth it. More pictures and a video to come!
Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) hunts over snow covered fields in Ulster County, NY. The sun had disappeared behind the landscape and the blue hour was just beginning. Most of the other photographers and birders had left only a few of us remained. I moved to an elevated platform and watched this owl make a few passes in the waning light. Taken 2/19/19.
You may notice some wing blur as I lowered the shutter speed to keep the ISO / noise down.
In the centre of Lisbon lies a steep valley with rising land either side. looking from the East side onto the West and the viewing platform.
Built in approximately three days - I worked quite directly from a piece of reference material, which I don't usually do, but I'd say this turned out pretty dang well. I'm currently working on both my Star Wars Factions landing platform MOC as shown in my last post, as well as another cyberpunk vig which is a little larger than this one. I'll try to get a photo of these two cyberpunk builds together once the second is done.

2 reds, 2 oranges, 2 yellows, equal-spaced brightnesses. Then 9 equal-spaced brightnesses every other one filled in: dark grey (RGB 12,15,13), magenta (RGB 64,32,57), blue (RGB 66,66,133), cyan (RGB 71, 143, 143) and white (RGB 245,255,247), overlaid with own-software edge-detection lines in the same colours and brightness breaks, over the top of a cyan (RGB 60,139,156) background.
Gives a red, orange, blue and white abstract perspective that highlights detail of the scene IMO.
