The new South London Line service is now in operation and LOROL 378 138 is seen at the new Platform 2 at Clapham Junction.

Steam Locomotives K190 approaching Platform 2, Bendigo Station, coming around after being turned at Bendigo Loco Depot. They are pulling a Steamrail special with sleeping carriages (on Platform 1 on the right) from Melbourne to Swan Hill, Echuca and back to Melbourne.

This October 2008 peek along platform two at Kidsgrove reveals a nice brick waiting room with the station footbridge further along. The platform is served by trains towards Congleton, Macclesfield and Manchester.

I have heard some people have the wish to be a little taller, this maybe going over the top. Lol.

First configuration of the new heated build platform. This requires no alterations to the standard Ultimaker build platform, and was sufficient to get everything set up and running. Four squares silicone pads are sitting on the standard acrylic platform, and the PCB is sitting atop those four pads. The 100k thermistor is (for now) sandwiched between the PCB and silicone pad, and seems to read about 10C higher than the platform, as measured by an IR thermometer. Borosilicate glass is directly atop the PCB, and held in place with four binder clips: two at the front, and two at the right. With just one on each side, as in this picture, the glass was shifting around a bit.

The westbound platform at Old Town/Chinatown was extended over the westbound trackway so doors on both sides of the train could be used. (The eastbound track is the only one that can be used when trains end here)
