Typical plaster swirls in Valladolid. These are created by placing small rocks into the plaster. We saw them in various places around the Yucatan but most vibrantly in Valladolid and Izamal.

We labeled all the teeth using the universal and palmer notation, drew on some of the cusps and ridges, measured some crown heights, etc.

From my daughter's plaster body cast, a school project this past year.

They made plaster casts of all the famous things, so that people in the UK wouldn't have to travel all of the way there, some centuries ago.

Most of the fixtures in the house were Home Depot flush lighting. We bought a bunch of antique fixtures from salvage places and rewired them.

initially made simple armatures of faces selected randomly from the collection of images, then plaster applied to distort and disturb the original identity of the face.

I varied the way i applied the plaster each time, creating a more spiked and rough surface when the plaster was more settled before applying and smoother more sloppy face when the applied plaster was relatively liquid
