Recently a new customer began using rail again at the end of the City Market spur, which comes off the main in Wyoming yard at the end of Judd Ave. Here we see CSX GP38-2 #2659 lead the short train back to the yard after picking up 3 boxcars.

15 mL of Plaster of Paris was hydrated with 7.5mL of a solution of 1mL sugar and ~20 crystals of CuCl2. On top was added about 0.75mL of strontium carbonate, 0.75mL of barium carbonate and 0.75mL of sulfur as well as about 0.03mL of copper carbonate (malachite). After the plaster had set it was heated until bluish yellow incandescence using a MAPP gas torch (fresh tank).

Fred Wilson often appropriates art objects to explore issues of race, gender, class, politics and aesthetics. Made up of five portrait heads of the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, "Grey Area (Brown Version)" one of the most copied works of ancient civilization. The otherwise identical plaster effigies, which he purchased and painted, illustrate a value scale ranging in color from oatmeal to dark chocolate. Thus, Wilson raises, but does not answer, controversial questions about the racial identity of ancient Egyptians.
