The picture-postcard fishing village of Clovelly on the North Devon coast was restored in the 1920s by Christine Hamlyn, the owner (yes - the owner of the whole village). This ship is in plaster.

I don't know what posessed these people to do this to the inside of the house. A fake stucco tudor look. The ceilings in the entry are 17' and the walls are all coming out to be replaced with something solid and smooth.
Layer 2 feels to easy hahah!
Now the next step a few strips of plaster bandage..just to give it a little more reinforcement ...than another layer of plaster.

I added a faux brick wall, painted to appear very old. The green wall is an aged, scratched plaster that is stunning..
