I took another photo of the threatening storm clouds, this time from the Walmart parking lot about 1/2 mile from the Staybridge Suites.
We decided to see if other nearby Walmart locations might have the dog harness in pink that we found in blue already. This Walmart was the first of two that I stopped at. I had no luck looking for that harness but I found a Texas t-shirt in my size that I bought, plus another Texas Rangers ball cap.
I am blessed because I get to experience these moments live and in person. I am also blessed to be able to catch a few precious moments like this that I am able to share with others. Hope you enjoy.

I've shot the sunset from the Costco parking lot a couple times. Before I had a field full of sunflowers in the foreground. Long gone now - I guess summer is over.
The other yard in Milwaukee was CNW's Butler Yard. Always a good place to go after being at the Milw. yards all day. Butler was a great place for catching "furin" power on the mainline trains that came in to pick set-out blocks of cars. odd locomotives, and prehistoric engines like Geep 9 rebuild 4329. Butler had an engine facility, and judging by the patina on this geep, a state of the art weathering department.

Right before totality, the ambient light was very dim, then all of a sudden, like someone flipped a switch, the ambient light went out - totality. Looking up in the sky seeing a dark disk with light radiating out. It felt I had been called by the Devine.
This picture came straight out of camera. For some reason the sensor is putting out white and red dots that were seen previously when the shutter speed was low.

According of study Min. & al, it is an inhibitor of electric activities on temporalis muscle.
Here, the possible pathway through sensitive cervical nerves then across the trigemino-cervical complex .
Chinese meridian is not explicated here. If you have an idea... I am not acupuncturist.

This is the building they used in the TV show Dallas. It's a lot smaller in real life than it is in the show!
Soft satin brushed aluminum laminate letters installed with stand offs on an interior accent wall. Drilled stud mounts give a floating effect highlighted by nice shadows created by interior office lighting.

I knew I had to put the filter back on before the end of totality. Since I wanted my wife to enjoy the experience, I didn't ask her to keep track of time. I thought I still have a minute or so, but I didn't want to take the chance. So this was the last picture taken during totality without the filter.
The solar flares from this picture is a bit different from the previous one. Some media reports this is actually solar prominence, and not solar flares.
