iPhone XS - taken from my yard. We had a dust storm blow through and the clouds were quite beautiful.
We've tried desperately to grow garden plants without success. So, this year I spread wildflower seeds in all of our beds and they're growing like crazy.

It was a nice surprise seeing this image while leafing through a binder of slides. I remember the trip to Dallas in 2003, but do not remember this particular train. The locomotive consist would certainly warrant some extra attention today, but I assume it was commonplace 21-plus years ago on the KCS. The train is westbound approaching "West Cowley" in Plano, TX with a TFM "Super 7" rebuilt GE head out and a former patched Conrail GP38-2 thrown in for good measure. It's a good thing it was cloudy as this was taken late morning and the sun would not have been in an ideal location.

Barkie Bailey, the meanest sounding, loudest Carin terrier you have ever met, who is really a sweet and playful sweetheart.
Greenbrier Vine - Macro
This group of berries was slightly larger than a golf ball, and the vine has very sharp thorns.
I was expecting a nice sunset this evening so I decided to take a stroll through Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. The sunset was great, but the sky facing east was equally as colorful. I aways love shooting this bridge.
Transmission tower and wires abound as a pair of white KCS SD40-2s bracket a gray SD60 on this westbound at Cowley, TX. 691 has just met an eastbound BNSF-powered intermodal train on the siding here, and its hind end can be seen in the distance.

It was a beautiful cloudy day sky in Collin County, Texas today! Some rain, but not enough came out of them.

Dirty Reflections. What else could I have titled it with two dogs looking out a dirty door glass with their reflections staring back at them. Right!
I don't have any Adobe photo editing software. This is edited using the Canon Digital Photo Professional. I am trying to bring out the coronal filament. I am afraid this is the best I can do without a real photo editing software.
Eleven year old grandson Lleyton's sunflower is blooming. He planted the seeds and look at the results. More blooms coming!
Interesting thing about Kestrels:
They don’t build the nest and they occupy other bird/squirrels nests.
