for Desperation...The starlings had come and wiped out the seed log, the major choice of this Female Red-Bellied WP! In desperation and several attempts, she made it onto the swinging feeder! She ate but kept gazing over to the bare seedlog stand.

Sorry this isn't as clear as I wanted, but it was taken through the window.

This change was a bit unintended... I bought the wig so I could try it on Momoe. But it made her look somehow sad and dark. Then still thought to try it on Nanami and I must say that I love the result <3

Funny thing... this wig was my first choise when searching a new wig for veritas but I didn't know how monique wigs would be like and was afraid to try.. And now she still got the wig :D

I see where that blue jay is hiding a peanut!

I had planned on taking this pano with my D300, but the battery had died just a minute beforehand.

So instead, I did a 4 shot pano with my cellphone.

Plan A was to have a Pepsi bottle with a bent neck.

I now know that it is impossible to bend a soda bottle by putting it in my coal fired boiler.

He waited there every Thursday.

Not for the bus

That the plan was still good.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.

On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.

These days I take a far more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, and having moved from professional Nikon equipment to consumer bodies and lenses, I travel light less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 22.893+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

**** This frame was chosen on August 7th 2018 to appear on FLICKR EXPLORE (Highest Ranking: #80. This is my 103rd photograph to be selected, which for me is both amazing and exciting, as I never view my images as worthy compared to some of the awesome photography out there. EXPLORE is Flickr's way of showcasing the most interesting photos within a given point in time -- usually over a 24 hour period.

Flickr receives about 6,000 uploads every minute -- That's about 8.6 million photos a day! From this huge group of images, the Flickr Interestingness algorithm chooses only 500 images to showcase for each 24-hour period. That's only one image in every 17,000!..... so I am really thrilled to have a frame picked and most grateful to every one of the 17.950 Million people who have visited, favourite and commented on this and all of my other photographs here on my FLICKR site. *****

The truth is I didn't actually have a plan B until I realised I'd missed my chance of plan A. The result of an early start with the intention of heading for the pier on the way to Blyth this morning. On arriving at the beach it struck me that every time I've taken a shot near the outfalls it's been high tide and nearly every shot I've seen from other togs at this spot have been at high tide so with all this exposed beach to play with I decided to take a few pre sunrise shots here. Well i stayed a bit longer than I intended but with clouds like this can you blame me.

My original plan was to chill in Dalton for an hour or two & see whatever comes through as a side trip on the way home from Chattanooga that morning. I pulled into the parking lot by the depot when my friend Brad shared an update that 27W was east of Tallapoosa, GA with EMDX Yellow Slug 7208 in the lead. With that news, I immediately left & started booking it down I-75 towards Atlanta to try & beat it. Thankfully for me, the dispatcher put them in the hole at Temple to let two westbounds through, buying me enough time to get to Austell as he was again going into the hole at Lithia Springs for about 20 minutes to allow the higher priority 226 to slip by them. Upon determining not to try either Austell or Mableton, I went to Bridge since I knew I could get them from either side of the crossing there depending on where the sun was. It just so happened that G98, which is normally G78, was going into the lead for Argos USA right as I got there. I set up to get a few shots of them while I waited for 27W when next thing I know, 27W calls Bridge, allowing me to catch a rather eco-friendly meet as the ECO-set powering G98 was passed by the tier 4 demonstrator unit. The moral of this story... it pays to be at the right place at the right time. 7-10-20

i'm planning a trip to peru. if any of you have been there, feel free to send me a flickr mail: i'd be glad to hear your advice.

i've kind of left aside my series and projects these days, 'cos i'm planning this trip and i'm so excited about it that i barely can think of something else. i'm leaving in two weeks and i still have many things to prepare, so in the next days i won't be very active on flickr, and continue my 365 project with quick shots

For some reason I noticed this waitress walked the same route after serving tables further from the door where we were sitting. Just to fill in time waiting, and no other reason, I planned to be in the right place with focus and exposure organised for when I turned suddenly. The girl at the near table appears a bit suspicious I was doing something. I just turned casually and kept walking. Confessions of a bored cafe user :)

The anniversary of Collabor88 is coming up! This is something I had planned on before I decided to close up shop. I think it will be a really great round so be sure to check it out!

These Filigree Bodysuits (sorry forgot to say that on the ad!) will be 88L each and they include all clothing layers!
