Pixie cup Lichens; Cladonia, minute lichens found in shaded areas. They always seem to be growing on old stumps, sometimes covering them completely creating fascinating miniature landscapes.

Boston indie-guitar stalwarts Pixies played Oklahoma City's Coca-Cola Events Center in Bricktown Tuesday night, a stop on their "Lost Cities" tour. They played "Doolittle" in its entirety.

just enough to steal your breath,
to hear you words no longer spoken
they eat your eyes, till nothings left,
take your soul and keep it dear
mix with leaves,till potions clear,
they leave your bones,
just a sign
telling those you payed the price
your heart is there so that they know
pixies don't play with empty souls

I handcrafted this gorgeous necklace, inspired by the cute Pixies. I've attached Bright Orange and Red beads to depict a Pixies warm and spirited nature as well as brass chain to give it a vintage look...
