Detail of the sign at the Pixie Restaurant, Mt Pleasant, MI. I wonder what the "C" stands for on the belt buckle.
Pixie after a growth spurt. For the longest time, we never thought she would weight more than five pounds, but shortly after her last surgery, she grew up. She now weights in at almost ten pounds as she nears her second birthday.
"This won't do--what's the matter with you?
All it takes is faith and trust...oh!
And something I forgot--Dust!
Dust? Dust?
Yep! Just a little bit of pixie dust"
I loved the moon in the background along with the stars in the sky. They are a nice backdrop for Bri in her pixie form, complete with wings. This one a bit closer.
I'm wearing an excercise outfit From Paradisis (I think that's the name) and my Jade Dragonfly wings from Material Squirrel.
These Pixie Cup Lichen are from near St. Mary's, Alaska. They have recently had a great growth spurt since pother vegetation has died back.

I decided on the colour theme green, to steer away from pinks and glitter which seemed to be associated with pixies. It was a conscious decision that I wanted to do something different. I blocked out the eyebrows to make the face shape look slightly irregular. I used green eye shadows to create the wing-like eye woodland fairy look, which faded up toward the frontal. I used green contour to slim the face. Following this, I added prosthetic pixie ears which emphasised the pixie-like characteristics. Next, I added gems which added to the design. I finished with a grey metallic lip.
