for the months that the pipe has been with me, a property handed over to me by a friend who frequently race the tracks, has made a few heads turned. i do get attention at the traffic light when a few others would stop and ask about it. at the carparks, conversation ould be shared with strangers who very much want to know what it was. its roar would be significant enough for my parents to know that i am home as i turned into the carpark.
however, earlier i stripped zei'na off her ability to roar for two reasons. one, i am going for my yearly inspection. two, i have been seeing a lot of the man in white on the road and i am tired of playing hide and seek with them. so, she is super silent today and the days that follows.... till its time to hear her roar again.
Why settle for one pup when you can have a pair? These little guys are made of chenille stems (pipe cleaners) and measure approximately 1-1/2 inches in length.
No glue. Made with traditional wire-wrapping techniques.
Most of this roll was test shots. Stuff like this helps me determine if I'm back or forward focusing with a lens/camera. This was shot at f5.6 1/125th and I was focused on the round opening of the pipe vent. I'm happy to report that the camera seems spot on.
