For #MacroMondays and #cutter.
I'm lucky that my husband has many tools and parts, and keeps his tools clean. He found this cute little red thingy last night, but I didn't see it in the light until this morning.
Part of miniature pipe cutter shown is 3cm / 1.2 inches at an angle, or a width of 5cm/1.97 inches across.
Thanks for looking.
Dutchman's Pipe. Outrageous, strangely sexual, bizarre, plate-sized blossoms.
Dutchman’s pipe is a cold hardy deciduous vine that produces large, deep maroon, pipe shaped blooms. This plant thrives in full sun or partial shade and can be easily trained to form a hedge-like appearance.

Crazy Tuesday "Within a 5min walk"
One of the two pipes recently installed in the playground next to the school across the road. If you talk into the pipe it can be heard out of the other one several meters away. I've seen both children and adults testing it.
I liked the contrast between all the beautiful shrines and temples around, to this rusted, industrial pipe just sticking out of the wall there.

And no, I don't smoke pipes 😉. Half a length of pipe cleaner from my Granddaughter's stash of craft materials.

Instead of the pipe not being real, this passe partout is just a bit of pencil scrabbling and an illusion of shadow.
Magritte can take a joke,I think.
We have had a bit of a reprieve in the weather lately. Between snow storms the temperature rose to something bearable. This in turn aloud a bit of a walk about and I came across this rather interesting measure of lines. Bridge and pipe came together with a blue sky to deliver some nice line work. Just 2 months of winter left. We don't have 4 seasons here, just winter and not winter.
What a day I picked to have a wander along to Southwick to visit the Hot pipe, my only opportunity of the week to get out with my camera and I wanted a high tide too. Well I got the high tide and lots more, the swell was huge as it always is at this spot with the waves rushing up the beach.
I tried to do a long exposure but I could not keep the shutter open for too long because of the misty sea spray. I first shot this spot a few years back i`ll pop a link in to show you , so one reason for my visit was to see if the beacons were still there with a view to going back to shoot a sunrise there again. If you don`t know where this is it`s behind Shoreham power station and gets it`s name from the outlet where the cooling water used to come out of the power station, it used to be a great little surf spot too .

I have always thought of these forms as pipes of some kind. It is true that they are more like coaxial cables in that they have an internal structure that often is just a tube. The general structure is one with some repeated elements that recur in a detectable order on the outside.

It's supposed to be an eagle. A football club had it built (their symbol is an eagle). 3.6m tall, 900 pipes. Don't ask me why. Here's a video. Beşiktaş, Istanbul.
