For this theme I found an old copper pipe that was in the garage and used a pipe cutter to cut into it just a little,I then bent it so it would rip.It was then placed in a tray and water was poured in at one end and as the water started coming out I took the photo.

Macro Mondays theme: "Begins with the letter P"

Wonderful piece of crafted metal. This pipe was decoratively used to make a small fountain. Senn @Landesgartenschau Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany

Bending a length of pipe for use in one of the pieces of rail equipment being repaired or restored at the Niles Canyon Railway maintenance yard near Sunol, California.

Cast Iron Stormwater Pipe which extends 75 Mtrs from the rockwall at Manly's north Steyne foreshore. It has been a feature of the shoreline for over 100 years and is a popular surf beach. This is a post from one of the local surf hire shops "The pipe is visible at low tide and may be covered at high tide. Care should be taken not to surf into the pipe and also wave action can push unwary surfers and swimmers into the pipe" ND 1000 Filter used.

I had originally planned to shoot the sun setting behind Worthing Pier but the tide was higher than I expexted. However to the east it was clearly raining and the sky had turned a dusky pink colour which made a nice looking scene, then to top it all off a Rainbow appeared on the horizon. It was only visible for a few minutes and I did the best I could in a short amount of time!

HMM, le thème :Begins with the Letter P ...genial en français comme en Anglais, ça commence par la même lettre ☺

Great Blue Heron, Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This Great Blue Heron spent a lot of time inspecting the water coming out of this pipe. He caught a few fish but nothing to write home about. All of a sudden he lost interest and flew away. A few seconds later an Alligator poked his head out of the pipe. Apparently the Alligator had squatters rights.
