Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Alisha in another of the ongoing WW2 Nose Art Pinup series! Calling on the classic Vargas style pinup that would often adorn nose of Fighters/Bombers or the backs of bomber jackets during World War 2. This particular WW2 Pinup Art represents the Army Air Force with Alisha and the North American P-51D Mustang. Nose Art and Jacket Art were often very colorful and not only represented the aircraft the person was assigned to but also what squadron or overall group the person was with.

It was so nice to get shots like this without having to haul out the monolights!
It's a scorcher today, so Kayla has headed out to the beach. But with a lot of sun, that means those awful tan lines from the swimsuit so she's turned to the only local 'clothing optional' beach in the hopes of some even suntanning! Going back to the roots of the classic 1940's style pinup often featured in magazines such as Esquire or True Magazine, these type of minimalistic pinups in the tradition of pinup artists like George Petty and Vargas featured mainly one thing: the pinup. While the gals could have some props like telephones, household items, etc; these pinups were the classic masterpieces that defined the pinup era.

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Kayla in this WW2 Pinup! The US Army Air Force Bomber Command in England has never looked as good as Kayla does having returned from a morale based flight onboard a B-17 Flying Fortress. It sure did get the spirits of the bombers crews up, especially when it came around to the drawing of which B-17 crew got to take her and the film crew with them! Kayla is wearing authentic WW2 items including headphones, Crusher Cap, A-2 Jacket, A-8B Oxygen Mask, and Rayon Gloves.

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Kayla in this salute to the women who toured the theater of war to bring morale to the troops past and present! War is a terrible thing, and often military members find themselves in the most stressful and difficult situations of life and death beyond what they could have imagined. This was especially true in World War 2 in every branch of service. From the crushing depth charges in the sea to the unforgiving flak bursts in the sky, the brave men pushed through it all to perform their duty. So a little piece of that familiar safe home was worth more than gold to these men. Celebrities, 'pin up girls', and other performances would travel around the world to bring those few moments of peace and a reminder of what they were fighting for back home. Here, Kayla sits atop a Jeep on some airfield in the UK bringing a smile to the faces of the airmen who would soon have to climb back into their B-17 Flying Fortress and head off for the dangerous skies over Nazi occupied Europe.

To answer the questions on the material I used to get the reflection under Martina, I used a rollable black piece of acrylic. It was about 18" wide, so I had to position it carefully to get the reflection I wanted. As you can see, the end of it is in the foreground.

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Kayla in this new series with a dark moody background. This series looks at the moodier side of pinups, with a dark background and dark clothing making the model stand out. This was a common practice for pinups in the 1950s and into the 1960s from some artists. Look for more of this series over the next few weeks with different gals!

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Christina in this Coca Cola pinup! From the 1930s into the 1940s, Coca Cola pushed the 'Coca Cola Girl' into their advertising quite heavily. Often doing some everyday task from working in a factory, serving in the military, or even playing at the beach with the gals always taking a break from their current task to have a Coke (in order to 'Refresh' themselves before continuing on with that task). This retro advertisement is part of the ongoing Coca Cola original ad recreations. The colors, fonts, language, and graphics of these have been meticulously researched and recreated to match the original style of the advertisements.

Today's NEW airbrushed style pinup photo features Kayla in this Christmas pinup for December! Imagine waking up hearing a noise late at night on Christmas Eve and upon coming downstairs to investigate you discover Santa Kayla. She's making her rounds leaving presents under the tree, and having realized you've snuck a peak and spotted her, she puts a finger to her lips and says 'shhhh' as she magically disappears... Most guys would be sad that she wasn't the present left under the tree!
