The sun goes down over Newport Parrog after another perfect Pembrokeshire day. These two were enjoying a pint of beer as their mobile phones were set to capture timelapse images of the sunset.

The garden is growing on faith not water. I'm optimistic about the snow this winter though. And with California on fire everything comes out of the garden with a smoked flavor.
Stopped at my local for a pint and relax on way home from Christmas shopping. About to have a sip of ale when I noticed this artwork on my glass, with a giant Steampunk-ish robot standing over the city in this glass from local indy beermakers Stewart Brewing.
I thought at first glance it was standing behind the Scott Monument in Edinburgh, although now I can see it more closely in the photo (hard to examine when beer glass was full earlier!) I'm not so sure - it looks a little like the Monument but with differences and thinking either it isn't it, or the cityscape in front of the robot is perhaps made up of bits and pieces of real buildings rather than an exact depiction. Anyway, it made me smile (as did the beer!)

Precisión y Tecnologia antiguas, somos tan ignorantes que sinó hubieran podido sobrevivir estas Maravillas, aún creeríamos que ahora somos muy sabios, cuando en realidad sabemos menos que nunca. Algunos valientes aventurados sostienen que el Sagrado Constructor fue Toth, uno de los Anunnaki que se pasearon durante milenios por nuestro Planeta,es muy posible, parece que su fiebre Constructora hizo que dispusiera un montón de edificaciones en toda la Tierra. Me apasiona Pintar con humildad artística sobre estos Enclaves repletos de Magia y Conocimiento,son huellas de los Tiempos Primordiales en los que dicen vivíamos en cuevas,la continua negación de los dias anteriores, y que más dá, la Ignorancia es imposible de canviar. En el Malecon de León estan aprovechando el espacio para poner graffitis y pintarlo de una manera agradable a la vista.
Este bello grafiti esta dedicado a la adopción de perritos, una bella manera de llevar el mensaje y que muchos de los que por ahí pasan, tomen conciencia de la realidad de los animalitos.
Finally got my pro account back...hope you all haven't forgotten me :)
I have been working out of town in another county on the west side of the state. Starting the day at 5am and not getting back to the hotel until 8 or 9 has me exhausted. I barely have energy to call my family and climb into bed to get ready for another day. Despite having my camera with me, I have taken about 10 shots over the past 3 weeks.
The one day we got out at a reasonable time we decided to tour a local winery, but they were closed. Instead we ended up at a local brewery for dinner and a pint of one of their custom brews. It was an interesting place...the food was good, the ale was strong and the walls were lined with ceramic mugs, each owned by one of the locals. I was so tired I only managed to snap off a couple shots. Even though it's not the best of shots, I thought the lighting and shapes were interesting. I get a week reprieve for the Thanksgiving holiday, then back down the week of 11/26 and again the week of 12/3. I am hoping to be better prepared next trip and be able to come back with some very cool shots.
