Grupo de hombres del VOLKSSTURM en dirección a primera lÃnea de combate, hombre mayores de edad y funcionarios civiles enrolados en una especie de ejército civil y escasamente armado, son los últimos contendientes que puede ofrecer la ciudad de Berlin para intentar repeler el masivo ataque soviético. Aquì los he pintado desfilando delante de la Brandenburger Tor con rostros adustos y llevando algunos de ellos el panzerfaust junto al casco alemán. Vibrantes sensaciones vividas en las remodeladas salas del MUSEU DARDER de BANYOLES, museos de Girona, Catalunya, conjuntos de animales en comunión sensorial, los cocodrilos junto a las muy variadas aves se muestran en la exposición permanente que nos traslada a la naturaleza, he querido pintar unas cuantas obras con estos espacios interiores en el Museo de Historia Natural y Zoologia que comprenden los objetos y cuerpos disecados de los seres vivos que son una parte de la colección de Francesc Darder, el fundador de este centro de estudios, aplicando los valores de la plástica creativa me introduzco en sus secretos que ocasionan emociones, pintura del artista pintor Ernest Descals sobre papel cartulina de 50 x 65 centÃmetros.

Gypsy Fox Brewing Co. were kind enough to send me this gorgeous case of craft beer after seeing one of my images for their Archetype IPA. I wasn't asking, it wasn't a job, but they appreciated the time and effort it takes to pull off shots like that and realised how thirsty work it is!

What attracted me to this was the backlit pint of beer. I was quite a few feet away and took a chance on a slow shutter speed. Clearly it was at least a two pint of Real Ale crossword.
One of my favourite wild flowers - the Cuckoo Pint, also known as Lords-and-Ladies or Wild Arum!
Cuckoo Pint (Arum maculatum) can be seen in April and May. It is a shade-loving plant of woodlands and hedgerows. Arrow shaped leaves appear first, followed by the distinctive flower with a pale green sheath surrounding a purple or yellow 'spadix' (a spike of tiny flowers on a fleshy stem). The spadix eventually produces an upright stalk of bright red berries that is conspicuous among the leaf litter. Cuckoo Pint grows everywhere in the UK, but is less common in the north of Scotland.
