The completed 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle "Policeman Dreams," from the fine painting by artist Dan Hatala, and manufactured by MasterPieces. This one of their "Childhood Dreams" puzzle series. It was both a challenge and a joy to complete.

En el año 1981 el pueblo de Caltojar mostró a todo aquel que quiso su particular homenaje a Pablo Ruiz Picasso en el centenario de su nacimiento. No sabían entonces que el pintor malagueño tenía orígenes sorianos, concretamente de La Póbeda, Barriomartín y Arguijo, ya que Rafael Inglada todavía no había publicado su investigación sobre el pintor universal, que publicaría en 1995 "Picasso antes del azul".
El alcalde Ángel Molina y su secretario, Ángel Nuño, que junto con la maestra, los niños y algunos adultos, con muchísimo interés y trabajo, dotaron al pueblo de unas pinturas, realizadas siguiendo las líneas que marcaba un proyector. A ningún viajero que discurra por la carretera le dejará indiferente este alarde de azul, de cubismo, de color en general. Ver allí, en los muros, a las señoritas de Avignon, al Arlequín, el retrato que hizo el malagueño de Antonio Machado, o en un panel el Guernika, es sorprendente.
Gracias a la restauración realizada en 2014 actualmente podemos gozar de mas de 50 reproducciones de las obras de Pablo Picasso en todo su explendor.

En mis excursiones para pintar el entramado de antiguas fábricas entre el PONT DE CABRIANES y Sallent en la comarca del Bages, Barcelona, Catalunya Central, he encontrado este oscuro almacén con un montón de cajas con botellas vacías apiladas en una especie de pirámide, se apoyan en la vieja pared entre trozos de madera y otros resíduos induatriales, lo he querido pintar como si fuera un bodegón especial, imágenes originales y lugares tenebrosos que disfruto pintando, a veces en el interior de una fábrica abandonada hay motivaciones plásticas de las que no puedes escapar. Pintura del artista pintor Ernest Descals sobre papel de 50 x 70 centímetros, pinturas de espacios interiores con su personalidad.

No puedo evitar el pintar los Santuarios y su entorno inmediato aunque los haya pintado en otras ocasiones, variando la posición del caballete el paisaje se muestra absolutamente distinto, pero sigo gratificándome de sus vibraciones. De nuevo he acudido al Santuari de la MARE DE DÉU DE L'AJUDA en el pueblo de HOSTALETS DE BALENYA, pueblos y paisajes de la Comarca de Osona en Barcelona, Catalunya interior, he querido escoger una vista que nunca había pintado, columnas de piedra y escaleras con el campanario al fondo y atrapando toda la luz de estos días de finales de agosto. El tema se me venía encima por su altura pero en las dificultades radica la motivación de los pintores, por lo menos en mi caso concreto. en lo complejo radica el reto. Interesante ejercicio de luz y composición que han sido motivos sobrados para situarme frente al paisaje. Fotos y cuadros del artista pintor Ernest Descals, oleo sobre lienzo de 65 x 81 centímetros.

Entramado de hilos de electricidad y torres de suministro eléctrico junto a los bloques de viviendas en la FABRICA BLANCA de MANRESA, antiguas fábricas que llenaban el espacio físico con sensaciones de historia industrial, fotos pintando los paisajes del atardecer con los cielos borrascosos de primavera con el objetivo de pintar los aspectos industriales de la ciudad que el pasado reciente se erigieron en la imagen de la capital de la Comarca del Bages, Barcelona, Catalunya interior, estoy trabajando para crear nuevas pinturas con los edificios y sus detalles en el objetivo de documentar los aspectos históricos mediante el ejercicio del Arte de la Plástica.

Racked my brains during the morning wondering what in the area near the office I could shoot today and somehow relate to the Theme, and I will concede I have taken some creative License with today's shot and post, as some may wonder how this relates to "Math"
So here's how I am trying to convince myself and you all that it is related to Math, hope no-one falls out of there chair laughing when they read this as I will admit it is a little Pathetic :)
OK Well a Pint is a measure, a measure can be used in Mathematical equations, ok stretching it I know but let me think of an equation to prove my point....
Ok here goes

Después de un duro año confinado por las normativas decido presentarme a un Concurso de Pintura, con el feliz resultado de haber sifo premiado, fotos en el Auditori Municipal de MONTACDA I REIXAC, un premio celebrado con la historia y los paisajes de la estación de ferrocarril a su paso por el centro de la ciudad, paisajes históricos que pronto no estaràn aquí, con la obligada mascarilla recibo este importante galardón artístico del Concurs de Pintura de la Festa Major "FEM MONTCADA", en la pantalla del escenario se proyecta mi cuadro "Pas a nivell" como si fuera una celebración de Holywood, a mi lado la Señora Alcadesa Laura Campos y demás regidores del Ajuntament de la vila, muchos aplausos y más premios para mi historial en los concursos celebrados en Catalunya.Fotos del artista pintor Ernest Descals saludando al público asistente en la ceremonia. Pintar el paisaje ferroviario que gira en torno al tren y a sus intalaciones urbanas siempre me motiva.

I made another trip to Joe Overstreet Road and found this Burrowing Owl still there, and it gave me another chance to get a few more shots. Further investigation revealed that it along with its partner had a burrow in the Pasture just behind where this photo was taken. I saw two young ones come out of the burrow also to look around. They were a little to far out in the pasture to get a good shot of them, and it was on private property, so I could not make an attempt to get any closer. I do hope they do well there.
With a little more research, I learned that the Burrowing Owl breeds from southern Alberta eastward to southern Manitoba, southward into Mexico. Also resident here in Florida and into the Caribbean and throughout South America.
I also learned that unlike most owls in which the female is larger than the male, the sexes of the Burrowing Owl are the same size, so I could not tell if this was the male or female.

Last year I popped into an old haunt of mine, The Angel pub on Crosswall, London EC3. Last week I walked down Crosswall to find the pub bulldozed. There had been a pub here since the 1780s. Apparently, housing and a restaurant will be in its place. So it really was the last pint here ever.

La fachada de los talleres de la COLONIA DE LA CONSOLACIÓ con sus altas columnas de ladrillos rojos que destacan de la vegetación que ha crecido con los años junto a los edificios, pura historia de la minería del carbón en la comarca del Berguedà, Catalunya interior, aún se puede leer en lo alto el nombre de la empresa CARBONES DE BERGA, la puerta está casi ocultada por las hierbas y matorrales, contraste de luz y colores vivos en un día con sol, el cielo permanece en sus tonos azules, característicos del aire limpio de las montañas, son construcciones históricas que quiero Pintar en mi Colección de Arte sobre la Central Térmica de Fígols y la Torre del Conde Olano,el promotor del trabajo en las minas de Sant Corneli, Sant Josep, Fígols y Cercs en estas tierras montañosas. El Palacio Real de Aranjuez cuenta con dos cúpulas destacadas de estilos distintos. La Cúpula de la Capilla Real, ubicada en el ala sur construida durante el reinado de Carlos III, se distingue por su forma inusual de pañuelo (sin tambor tradicional) y está decorada con frescos pintados por Francisco Bayeu y casetones dorados.
