Ping Pong by Michelle Ayler. An original composition written for piano. An awesome option for students that feel the need for speed. Students learning this piece work on multiple musical skills, like alternating melody between hands and moving around the piano. A very nice choice for students to perform at recitals as well as festivals. Definitely a fun supplement to a student's regular piano books.(Elementary, Level 3A, Beginning Sheet Music for Piano.)

Level Description
Level 3A (Elementary) Beginning piano solo pieces. Staff reading is limited to five finger positions that may change through out the piece. For example, the beginning section starts in C Position and the middle changes to G Position. Easy rhythms that include eighth notes. Pieces are hands together quite frequently. Very simple key signatures.
About Song Positions
Most music for beginning piano students are in a five-finger position (sometimes called orientation) of some form. This is not the same as position reading which can sometimes cause students to struggle with note-reading. MEA Music offers non-positional pieces as well as works in less common five-finger positions at all levels.
No PositionNon-positional songs are quite common for piano students of all levels. The right hand plays does not play a particular five finger pattern. And the left hand plays does not play a particular five finger pattern.
