Ping Shan in Kowloon Bay. 180m height, In the afternoon, the sky was great with beautiful clouds. So, I just want to find a convenience place to capture the sunset. Finally it took me 1 hour to get here and the night view is stunning.
This is Mr Ping. He was my trishaw driver when I was in Penang. He is a very chilled out type of character and it was really interesting talking to him. He works for a tour company there that arrange day excursions and trips in and around Malaysia. He spoke about his time in Penang and his driving days as he peddaled me around Georgetown and Little India.
These little three wheeler rishaw type buggies are well cool, very comfy....as long as you don't go over any potholes...and also watch out for the traffic. As we approached Little China, a few cars really got too close for comfort and we had a narrow escape with a lorry when going round one particular bend.
Full faith in Mr Ping though..he is one helluva trishaw driver. Thank you for the enjoyable journey! :)
A fisheye view inside the cable car in Ngong Ping, a highland in the western part of Lantau island, Hong Kong. It host the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha, 34m tall the tallest outdoor sitting bronze buddha in the world. It reputedly can even be seen from as far away as Macau on a clear day
It faces directly to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing as its base upon the Altar of Heaven or Earthly Mount of Tian Tan in Beijing.
Ngong Ping Cable Car is a 5.7 km long bi-cable gondola lift system (referred to by its operators as a "cable car") linking between Tung Chung (where it connects the MTR Tung Chung station) and Ngong Ping (where the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha are located). Between the two terminals at Tung Chung and Ngong Ping, the lift system runs across the southern shore of the Hong Kong International Airport island and Nei Lak Shan, with eight towers including the stations. -wiki
Its an exhaliarating ride, sometimes a little bit scary because of the strong winds but the view is fantastic all the way.
We actually went there twice, the 1st time it was cancelled due an approaching typhoon while we were about to board the car. Well its better to be safe. We did came back two days after when the storm subsided, the sun was up high and so this photo.

Or table tennis, whichever you prefer. My 7th build for the ABS Builder Challenge Season 1 Finale.
Surprisingly, what you see is more than 50 studs long - I used up almost all of my dark green bricks, and I only was able to build the part of the table that would be viewable for the shot.
The curved dark red seed part was used 6 times.
Go Lavender!
A view of the main street of Ngong Ping village with Nei Lak Shan in the background. This place is popular with tourists due to the breathtaking scenery on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and many come to visit the temple & big Buddha.
Just a few little flowers left and the beauty of the seedhead is showing through.
This cultivar is selected for its pretty seedheads as they are lovely both fresh and dried, but the flowers that come first are lovely too, creamy white with just a hint of blue...
