He landed on our truck during our trip and stayed with us for HOURS on the bumpy, long ride...we had to go super slow because of our truck camper, so he didn't fall off until we could go over 40 kms per hour!

... have to love the pinecone! this soul is not quite ready to make land-fall, as you can see in the color of the cone itself. a few of the needles around it have turned brownish-red . I think it will be ready to soar in about a week or so :)

Quixotic Pixels.

My daughter is a born naturalist. She loves finding interesting bits and pieces, like rocks, acorns, twigs and best of all, pinecones. She prefers conifers to deciduous trees.

I stencilled the graphic onto her t-shirt using a freezer-paper stencil.
