she's on her way from hong kong as we speak.
thank you, simmi. I have always had the feeling this girl belonged with me, even after I stupidly let her go in the past.
and now it has all worked out for the best, especially for me.

I might do a step-by-step for this, but it's pretty easy.
Make sure you have a white (or other plain background) image handy. You can make one in PicMonkey if you don't by taking one of the sample photos and putting a big white rectangle (from the overlays tool) over it and saving it.
Now, open your photo, go to Textures, choose "Upload your own" and add your white background image. Set blend mode to "normal" but keep the fade at about 30% so you can see through it. Then use the paintbrush to 'erase' the white from the subject (ie., paint in the 'original'). You can put the fade to 0% every once in a while to check how it looks. When you're happy, save it.

Compositionally Challenged Week 34/2016 Summer
One of our favorite birds of summer. There were 5 hummers chasing each other around the Mansion gardens. It was so much fun watching them but they were not cooperating with me, I was lucky to get this, lol. Cropped and brightened in PicMonkey.

The city of Bath in South West England was founded in the 1st century AD by the Romans who used the natural hot springs as a thermal spa. It became an important center for the wool industry in the Middle Ages but in the 18th century under the reigns of George l, ll and III it developed into an elegant spa city, famed in literature and art.
Well, Picnik closed which is too bad because I did a lot of editing there. But the replacement site: PicMonkey, is pretty cool, too. I took this photo about 6 months ago and kind of liked it, but never did much with it. I thought the paint effect came out pretty good and now I'm a PicMonkey Fan!
Taken through the double glazed window of my office :)
Sorry I have not been very quick to comment on your photos - had a very busy "social" few days!! lol
